The tour starts with a pick up at your hotel or cruise ship terminal between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. We offer round trip transfer from X, Y, Z. In case you stay in a remote area where transfer is not available, you need to come to the check in location on your own by 9:30 am. Our departure point is the cruise port in Bridgetown. Exact pick up time will be advised after reservation.
We will start our tour with a stop at Morgan Lewis Sugar Mill. The authentic wind-driven mill is a nice historical spot that used to crush sugarcane to produce juice during the 18th and 19th centuries. The site was handed over to the Barbados National Trust for preservation as a museum in 1947. The mill is a truly unique site as being on the World Monuments Fund list of "100 Most Endangered Sites in the World".
Then we will stop for 15 minutes at Cherry Tree Hill. It is circa 850 feet above sea-level and offers a postcard-worthy panorama with the "Scotland District" and the parish of St.Andrew. Following the road lined with mahogany trees, we will arrive to Bathsheba Beach for another amazing photo stop. This beautiful area is popular among surfers and offers a lovely sea-side panorama.
After that we will visit St. John's Church. It is a beautiful building with an interesting history, was destroyed by the Great Hurricane in 1831, then built again to replace its predecessor. The pristine little church and its area offers a breathtaking panorama of the scenic east coast.
Our last stop is Barbados Garrison. It has been the home of horse racing in Barbados since 1845. Many of the buildings were constructed of bricks shipped straight from London, and those ships returned to London with sugar. You will have the opportunity to listen to your guide's stories about the place and take amazing photos.
We will return to Bridgetown by 1:30 pm and drop you off at your hotel or cruise ship terminal between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm, if you are not from a remote area.
