The tour starts with a pick up at your hotel or cruise ship terminal between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. We offer round trip transfer from X, Y, Z. In case you stay in a remote area where transfer is not available, you need to come to the check in location on your own by 8:30 am. Our departure point is the cruise port in Bridgetown. Exact pick up time will be advised after reservation.
We will head to St. Nicholas Abbey that is one of the finest historic sites in Barbados and offers a diverse experience including a historical tour and rum tasting on the plantation. Your experienced guide will tell you many stories filled with tales of love and intrigue.
Our adult travelers will have the opportunity to taste the famous rum of Barbados, and experience its smooth taste with a lively finish. Sip some award-winning rum with your fellow travelers while learning about the long tradition of producing and trading rum.
After our visit on the plantation, we will take you to the scenic Barclays Park for lunch. We will pass by Cherry Tree Hill Reserve and Morgan Lewis Sugar Mill on our way there, then arrive to a restaurant called Chill’n Breeze. (lunch)
Then we will change the seaside view for botanical wonders and drive to Andromeda Botanic Gardens for a nice walk-through where you will see many species of unique trees and tropical plants. The garden has been created as a private retreat and was opened to the public in 1976. They use only natural forms of fertilizer and pest control, making the garden fully organic.
Our last stop for the day will be Harrison's Cave in the the heart of the island. You will board an electric tram specially designed to lead you through the astonishing limestone cave. You will learn about the cave's history and its natural formations, observe the stalactites and stalagmites that are still growing and making the caves alive, as well as tranquil streams, waterfalls and turquoise ponds.
We will return to Bridgetown by 4:00 pm and drop you off at your hotel or cruise ship terminal between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, if you are not from a remote area.
