The tour starts with a pick up at your hotel or cruise ship terminal between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. We offer round trip transfer from X, Y, Z. In case you stay in a remote area where transfer is not available, you need to come to one of the listed hotels on your own. Exact pick up time will be advised after reservation.
After the pick ups we start our tour at St Michael's Cathedral. The cathedral has a magnificent structure built in the simple and classic style of the 17th century. Walking through the church yard is truly special as you will see tombstones even from the late 1600's and early 1700's
Our next stop is Bridgetown Synagogue originally built in the 17th century, then rebuilt in the 19th century after a hurricane. It is an active synagogue with beautiful Gothic arches and a colorful history.
The last church stop is St. Mary's Anglican Church, which is one of the best maintained churches on the island and is definitely worth a stop. The church has a truly remarkable history, located in a beautiful area.
Stroll through Queen's Park to reach the spectacular baobab tree, considered one of the Seven Wonders of Barbados. The seed of this 1000-year old tree floated from West Africa across the Atlantic Ocean to the shores of Barbados.
To round up the experience, we will walk to National Heroes Square where you can learn about some of the most important people in the island's history. Then we will stop by the Barbadian Parliament before heading to Pirates Cover for lunch.
(Lunch, drinks, souvenirs - email)
