Your adventure to the beautiful Dominican countryside starts with a pick up at your hotel in Boca Chica and Juan Dolio. We will drive along panoramic vistas and charming pastel-colored cottages that flawlessly blend in with the lush vegetation of Bayaguana.
We will drive through sugarcane fields that fill the air with sweet aroma. The area is known for sugarcane production for centuries. We will witness the traditional way farmers ploughing the fields. Pick up a piece of sugarcane and taste its sweetness yourself.
Dominican Republic has given several legendary baseball players to the world. Journey through the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox enrolment camps in Pedro de Macoris and see the recruitment process firsthand.
We will visit a family in their home to see how locals live. They will show us around on their farm and give us samples of exotic fruits, freshly roasted coffee and a rich cup of hot cocoa drink.
Our tour continues to a the secluded province of Monta Plata where we will visit a local market. Feel free to stroll among the vendors and purchase authentic locally made products. We will also stop at a local school where you can learn about the Dominican educational system.
Walk across 400 years of history at the Santo Cristo de la Bayaguana church, the oldest of its kind in the Dominican Republic. Its architectural style is reminiscent of the colonial period.
We will have a traditional Dominican lunch at our beautiful ranch. This dish is commonly known as "la bandera dominicana".
Before heading back to your hotel we will visit the Salto Alto Waterfalls where you can plunge yourself into its refreshing waters.
