Your sightseeing tour begins with a pick up at your hotel in Boca Chica and Juan Dolio. We will first take you to Catedral San Pedro Apostol, a beautiful church built in Neo-classical style with beautiful stained glass and a tower that is visible from all parts of the city.
We continue to the nearby Macorix Cigars Co. a traditional manufacturer of quality cigars. We will learn how to roll the finest cigars and how tobacco has boosted the national economy.
We will stroll through Central Park, visit a local handcrafts store in the village center and tour the old town and the beautiful seafront boulevard. Your guide will explain the city's history and get you an insight into everyday life of Dominican people.
We will drive through beautiful sugarcane fields where its sweet aroma fills the air on our way to our next stop, the Ron Barcelo Historical Center.
Your senses will be captivated getting a chance to smell, see, taste and feel the true essence of the Dominican Rum and appreciate the quality of Barceló Rum.
