Description

Hop on the back of our safari-style truck when we come to pick you up at your hotel in La Romana, Bayahibe and Dominicus. We will drive through the beautiful Dominican countryside to numerous destinations to learn about this beautiful island.


Our first stop will be a local school where you can learn about the Dominican educational system. Then we head over to visit a family in their home to see how locals live. They will show us around on their farm and give us samples of exotic fruits, freshly roasted coffee and a rich cup of hot cocoa drink.


We will visit the Higuey Basilica where Dominicans come to worship their Patron Saint, the Virgin of Altagracia. It is one of the most important spiritual retreat in the Dominican Republic.


We will board a riverboat and sail down the Chavon River through lush tropical rainforest. You will be served a delicious lobster lunch with wine along the way while merengue music plays in the background.


We well drive to the largest sugar cane field of the country on our way to the next destination. Enjoy the sweet aroma in the air or pick up a stem of sugar cane and taste it.


This tour would not be complete without learning the art of cigar rolling from the master craftsmen himself. Perhaps the best mature, ripe tobacco has been harvested in this land, befitting only the finest cigar brands in the world which use them in their manufacturing process.


As the tour comes to an end, we serve you a final drink on the safari truck and drive you back to your hotel
