Join us on a relaxing bicycle tour from the Colonial Zone to visit the green patches around the central district. The tour lasts about 3 hours with several stops at points of interest. Our knowledgeable multilingual guides will explain the city's history, show you the hidden secrets and will share some cool stories along the way.
We will visit several parks and gardens, but the main attraction is the Los Tres Ojos National Park (which translates to The Three Eyes). The park consists of three humid caverns with dark blue lagoons connected by stalactite-filled passages. Upon entrance, a long stairway takes visitors down a narrow tunnel in the rock, and a cement path at the bottom leads through the caves. At the third ojo (lake), a small boat can be hired for RD$25 to visit a fourth, hidden lake, which is actually a gorgeous water pond beneath open sky, filled with fish.
We will cruise along the beach on the Malecon where locals tend to get together. We will visit Plaza de la Cultura, Palacio de los Deportes, Parque Iberoamerica, a university park and many more.
This tour is a perfect combination of nature and history. It is perfect for families and anyone who is just looking for a fun ride.
