Check in close to the San Juan cruise terminal between Cruise Pier 3 and 4 at 4:30 pm.
Board our spacious topsail schooner that counts seven sails to be used in different combinations to suit the wind conditions while making it fun to sail. We will start the trip drifting close to the streets of Old San Juan so you can enjoy its spectacular architecture and rich cultural views while sipping refreshments from our open bar.
We will pass by the famous La Puerta de San Juan that protected the city from invaders for centuries. It is now open to the public. Then we will see El Paseo de La Princesa, a charming promenade with majestic walls that once also served to protect San Juan.
After a while, we will catch sight of La Fortaleza - the Fortress - that has housed 170 governors of Puerto Rico and is still a functioning government building. This impressive construction was completed in 1540 as an effort to secure the island’s defenses.
When the time comes and the sun starts to set, you will experience fascinating hues of purple, orange and red while our friendly staff will be serving drinks from the open bar, and appetizers from a local restaurant. The open bar offers Puerto Rican rum, whisky, vodka, white wine, regular and diet sodas, cranberry juice, club soda, and Medalla beer.
After sunset, we will head back to the port of San Juan and take a glimpse of the daring Jardines del Morro on our way back. We will return to the starting point by 7:00 pm.
This tour departs from Old San Juan, between Cruise Piers 3 and 4 nearby the Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel. If you are driving the closest parking lot is Covadonga.
