You will meet your local guide at 1:45 pm at Starbucks in San Juan and enjoy a comprehensive walking tour led by writer David Rodríguez. He will lead you through San Juan’s colonial Golden Age and the Gilded Age summer colony, and tell you everything about riots, rebellions, enemies, and allies.
You will find out why this colony was called Gold Island while walking through historic sites and taking photos at amazing locations. We will walk through the stunning La Princesa Walkway as well as the San Juan Gate.
During the tour we will pass by the Christ Chapel, the Pirate Prison, and enjoy the views of San Juan's Harbor with the guard tower. We will also take a walk in Pigeon's Park where you can feed hundreds of birds or just take a relaxing walk under the beautiful trees.
We will return to the starting point by 4:00 pm, after two hours filled with sightseeing and exciting stories.
