- Follow your guide through the jungle in a 3.5-hour expedition with rappelling, cliff jumping and hiking

The tour leaves from Cabarete with a 45-minute drive to our base camp. Your guides will get you geared up in wetsuit, harness, helmet and life jacket. After the safety briefing we hop into the van for a 10-minute drive to the canyon entrance.
The trek starts with a couple of easy jumps before we come upon the highlight of the day, the Magic Mushroom itself. Two intense rappels are followed by some great jumps that can be walked around if you are just in it for the rappels.
After a couple of hours in the river there will be a 20-minute hike back to base. We will serve you a delicious Dominican lunch before the drive back to Cabarete, arriving around 2:00 pm.
Canyoning differs to cascading in that it involves rappelling and is therefore slightly more technical and a little slower paced.
