Description
Enroll in a fantastic dolphin course program during your vacation in Curacao. This training is specially designed for kids aged between 8-14 years to give them a deep understanding of dolphin behavior in a fun and interactive way.
The children will experience the thrill of working with dolphins as a trainer while learning something new about dolphin biology and behavior each day. Kids engage in classroom lectures and games, participate in daily interactive water sessions, and work side by side with our animal care staff. They even participate in a real training demonstration!
The dolphin assistant trainer course consists of two levels that can be taken together or split between visits to Curacao.
Level 1 - Two half-days on Monday and Tuesday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

- Maximum 6 people per group
- Course in Dutch or English
- Participant must be able to swim
- Swimming with fins is obligatory
- Successful completion of Level 1 is compulsory to start Level 2

- Full refund if cancelled at least 7 days before the commencement of the activity, no refund after.
- Full refund if supplier cancels the tour.
- Full refund if cruise ship does not dock in time or does not dock at all and tour is missed.

Our daughter participated in the assistant trainer program. Everything about her time there exceeded expectations. She learned with lots of hands of time and couldn't have been happier. Miriam was a great teacher and the dolphins were amazing!

This experience was excellent, and I am very glad I came here. The dolphins were very
cute, and it is thrilling to teach them tricks, and swim with them. The instructors teach
you a lot about dolphins, and are very kind. The water is not that cold even in march,
and you get to prepare the fish for the dolphins! The dolphins feel like rubber, and
they are very kind. The dolphins will let you come very close to them, and even pet
them! The dolphins will not bite you or hurt you (but I cannot assure you this because
dolphins are wild animals).
This experience was excellent, and I am very glad I came here. The dolphins were very

It was absolutely a dream of a future marine biologist my trainer Puck and Machu the dolphin were amazing puck was so much fun to be with for 2 days she taught plenty of hand signals and information and making the buckets of fish learning the hand signals swimming along side them was all thanks to my wonderful trainer and at the end of all of it the show Junior was absolutely epic letting me train with Dee Dee she is 22 female doing all of it was super awesome it was everything I hoped for I definitely recommend the assistant trainer course make sure you see Puck cause she is epic!!!The encounter the swim and snorkel an loads of fun definitely a check of a very short bucket list!

Our children did the assistant training course level 1 for children age 9-14. They loved it! Excellent program, friendly staff both via email and at academy. Seems like the dolphins are treated well and their area is well maintained. Trainers professional and friendly. Recommend any of the activities like Dolphin encounter and swim, definitely not too be missed when visiting Curacao.

My 11 yr old daughter just finished her two mornings of assistant dolphin trainer training at the Dolphin Academy. She loved it! Anje and the other trainers were really good with her. She got to train with them, learn about dolphins, help prepare dolphin show treats, swim with a couple dolphins and then participate in one of the dolphin shows. She knows so much more about dolphins and whales now than I could ever have believed possible in just a couple mornings. She can't wait to come back and do the second level of training. Thank you to all the staff at the Dolphin Academy for giving her such a great experience. It was well worth every cent and we have some great photos the staff took to show everyone back home. Just one suggestion - it would have been great to be able to buy a postcard with one of the photos to mail to the grandparents. Much more tempting than mugs or mouse pads. Just a thought for a new product parents would like to buy. Thanks again. See you next year.

This was the most incredible experience. My daughter did the assistant dolphin trainer program for two half days. She worked with the trainers to fed the Dolphins, learned all about them, swam with them and gave commands during a show! It was an experience of a lifetime for her.
