Klein CuraƧao is a small piece of uninhabited paradise just off the coast of the main island of CuraƧao, famous for its white sand beach and sea turtle colonies. The only way to get to Klein Curacao is by boat and taking a powerboat tour is your fastest way to get there!
You will meet the crew at the Zanzibar Restaurant in Jan Thiel beach at 10:00 am in the morning. You will listen to a safety briefing and sign a waiver form before taking your seat. We will cruise through Jan Thiel Bay on slow speed and once we are on open sea, we head directly towards Klein Curacao on full speed.
The speedboat ride to Klein Curacao takes 35 to 60 minutes depending on sea conditions. Once we get to Klein Curacao you will see a small piece of paradise that you will have all to yourself. Go snorkeling with turtles and explore the vivid underwater world at the reefs, work on your tan on the beautiful white sand beaches, walk to the historical lighthouse or enjoy an ice cold beer at the open bar.
Around 3:30 pm we start preparing for our adventurous ride back to Curacao. The way back is easier and takes 25 to 30 minutes maximum. On Saturdays, you can head straight for the Happy Hour which starts at 5:00 pm at Zanzibar.
Important
The sea conditions are unpredictable and we often encounter high waves, strong winds and strong currents on our journey. This is the reason why other boats are rocking a lot, making a majority of the people on the boats sea sick. However, with a powerboat, we are cruising on high speed and we are not rocking on the waves, thus, it is less likely to get sea sick. As a matter of fact, you won't even have time to get sea sick as we reach the island in less than 1 hour, whereas other boats need at least 2 hours to get there.
We strongly discourage pregnant women and people with back, neck or any other injuries from booking a high-speed boat ride. You participate in the powerboat tour at your own risk. It is important that you are physically able to climb in and out of the boat and that you are able to move with the boat.
