Join us on the easy version of the Dominican Republic's most famous adventure tour, the 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua. For those who feel the hike to the top may be a bit challenging you can simply go for only 12 falls and still enjoy the fun of jumping, sliding and swimming back to base camp in this 5-hour extraordinary expedition through the jungle following your local guides. The name 27 "Waterfalls" is actually a mistranslation from the Spanish word "Charcos" which means pools not waterfalls. There are only in fact a total of around 12 actual waterfalls even on the full trip to number 27.
We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning (see pick up schedule below) then drive you to the entrance of the Damajagua Nature Reserve. We will give you a safety briefing and gear you up with life jacket and helmet.
The tour starts with a moderate hike of around 45 minutes that leads up to the 12th waterfall where the real fun begins as make your way back down to base camp through rivers, falls and natural pools. This tour will definitely leave a silly grin on your face and memories to cherish! The total river time is approximately 2.5 hours. Jumps can be as high as 25 feet (8 meters) but don't worry, the big jumps all have a walk-around if you are not comfortable with the height.
After the tour, you will enjoy an authentic Dominican lunch and local rum drinks before heading back to your hotel. You can use the on site showers and changing room to put on some dry clothes.

The tour goes out every Saturday and one more day of the week, usually Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. If you book for a day other than Saturday, please note that your selected date might be changed or chat with us for schedule.
