12 Waterfalls of Damajagua, Ziplining and Horseback Riding Tour in Puerto Plata

The tour starts with a pick up at your hotel (see schedule below) in an open safari truck, then we head to the Waterfalls of Damajagua, one of the highest rated attractions on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic.

Nature has crafted here some awe-inspiring pools, etched out of limestone, with stalactites and stalagmites in a thousand colors. We start with a safety briefing and gear you up, then you will follow your guide to the Damajagua Cascades in a 30-minute hike. The adventure begins when you start to make your way back down inside the 12 most beautiful waterfalls, by swimming, jumping, and sliding through the refreshing, crystal-clear water.

After the Damajagua adventure, we head to our ranch at Country World Adventure Park. You will get equipped for the zipline adventure and enjoy a short safety briefing. A bottle of fresh drinking water will be attached to your harness, to make sure you stay well hydrated during this adventure.

The park consists of ziplines, with a total length of more than 7900 feet (2400 meters) and the longest zipline is 2460 feet (750 meters). All our ziplines are ACCT certified made of double, galvanized aircraft steel cable. Contrary to many other zip line parks you are not involved in any active breaking, like using gloves for stopping. For your comfort, you can hold onto a handlebar.

After the ziplining in the rainforest, you will be served fresh made juices made of local fruits that grow in our ranch. We take a walk with you through our tropical garden.

We will then take you on a relaxing 1-hour horseback riding tour through the Puerto Plata countryside where you can enjoy some breathtaking views. The horseback riding included in this package is meant to be for beginners and children as well. We take the time to provide full basic riding instructions to our customers. Depending on riding skills and experience, the right horse will be found for everybody.

Once we arrive back tour our ranch, we will serve you a delicious, home-cooked Dominican lunch, consisting of rice, beans, chicken or beef, fried bananas and yucca, vegetables, tropical fruits and more. At our bar you can purchase local beer or tropical drinks.

After lunch, we will take you back to your hotel.
