Leave the rat race behind on this ultra relaxing river tube floating with a couple of small rapids and cliff jumping into the river. Jumps range from small 6 foot (1.8 meter) jumps up to a 30 foo(9 meter) zip and drops. You can jump as many times as you like but no worries if you do not want to jump, zip or swing into the river at all, it is just an option.
The tour leaves from Cabarete in the morning with free pick up from local hotels. Hotel transfer from the surrounding villages is optional, see price below. We will drive you to the countryside where your guide will give you a safety briefing and gear you up before the fun begins.
After the river play, it is just a 10 minute hike up to the charming base camp for an authentic Dominican lunch including chicken, rice and beans cooked on a fogon, salad and local rum drinks.
Elderly family members are welcome to simply relax at the base camp soaking in the incredible vistas and they will be able to see tubing family members on the last stretch of the float and doing the jumps before lunch.
Hotel transfer is included from Cabarete. Exact pick up time will be given after reservation but it is around 9:00 am. Hotel transfer costs from other towns are as follows:
