Your Puerto Plata dolphin swim package includes free round trip hotel transfer from Puerto Plata hotels (exact pick up time will be advised after reservation). Pick up and drop off service is available from other locations as well for a low fixed price.
The Dolphin Swim experience begins with a brief orientation. Guests learn about dolphin behavior and discover how Ocean World Adventure Park trainers use hand signals and positive reinforcement to communicate with them. Then it's time to get into the water and start interacting with these amazing creatures. We offer three different dolphin swim programs:
Dolphin Encounter - 30 minutes
The best family activity at Ocean World is the Dolphin Encounter, which offers close contact with dolphin in waist deep water, touching, kissing, dancing, feeding and playing with this gentle mammal. An interaction that is fun and educational, ideal for non swimmers and families with young kids.
Basic Dolphin Swim - 30 minutes
This program was created especially for you and the dolphin to share a series of sensational and safe activities while establishing a unique bond of trust. You will get to kiss, hug, and dance with the dolphins. You will have the chance to hand feed your friends and swim with two dolphins at the same time. This program will also include dorsal pull by 2 dolphins, a truly once in a lifetime experience at!
Royal Dolphin Swim - 60 minutes
Participants of the new program will have the unique opportunity to participate in a 60 minute swim session with 2 beautiful bottlenose dolphins. You will kiss, hug, pet, and feed dolphins in deep water for half an hour. Afterwards the session continues on the beach area for an additional half hour more. Here guests can interact with dolphins on one-on-one in their own environment. Playing ball games with the dolphins, taking a pectoral ride and a foot-push with a boogie board are all fun features of this fantastic experience.
All program packages also include a day pass at Ocean World Adventure Park, including all of its attractions, as well as convenient round trip bus transfer from nearby hotels and lunch. Boasting the largest man-made dolphin habitat in the world, Ocean World is a must-see attraction for everyone visiting the Dominican Republic.
Ocean World visitors have the opportunity to snorkel in the Tropical Reef Aquarium, learn about marine mammals, feed exotic tropical birds, walk through a tropical rainforest, visit the pirate pool, slide down the water slides, and observe the Dolphin Show, Shark Show, Sea Lions Show and Tropical Bird Show. Guests also have free access to the Dolphin Beach with beach chairs and much more!
