Description

This ATV excursion will let you discover the rural areas of the region of Samaná riding through the dirt trails and small villages that surround Las Galeras. Check in at our office in Las Galeras at 8:30 am or request a hotel pick up from the surrounding villages.


Your guide will show you how to operate the ATVs then we are onto a full day scenic ATV adventure through the Dominican countryside. You will visit the “Rancho Típico” of a Dominican family where you will enjoy a good Dominican coffee, pure cocoa, discover or buy handicraft products and local agriculture


Continue your guided ATV tour in Las Galeras across the roads to reach the famous and beautiful Playa Rincón, a pristine beach stretching out more than 3 miles (5 km) long. We will stop there for an hour to enjoy its white sand and turquoise waters. Relax, bathe, walk along the beach, or just simply work on your tan.


We will then ride our ATVs to the “Caño Frío“, a fresh water river that comes from a mangrove forest and flows into the sea. Its clear waters will make a superb setting for swimming or taking pictures.


Take the road again to get to “El Monte Azul“, the highest panoramic restaurant in the Samaná peninsula. From here you will be able to admire the entire magnificent bay while enjoying a tasty lunch. You may even spot whales jumping during their breeding season!


By the time we ride down back to the village of Las Galeras, you will have the feeling that you had the chance to get a taste of the real Dominican Republic!
