Description
Your day will start with a pick up at your hotel in Samana and the surrounding villages before heading off to Playa Rincon. On our way to this gorgeous beach, voted as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world, we will pass by Samana city, where your knowledgeable guide will explain its history.
Further on, we will take a detour to the quaint fishermen town of Los Cacaos where you will see the locals bringing in the catch of the day. We will also visit Bay of Arrows where Christopher Columbus had a battle with the Ciguayos indians on his first voyage.
We will take a speed boat from Las Galeras and cruise along the beautiful shore line of the Samana Peninsula on our way to our final destination, Playa Rincon.
You will have plenty of time to enjoy the bay with its crystal clear water and chill-out at the beach until we have a succulent lunch with lobster. After the meal, enjoy the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea and relax at the virgin Rincon beach. A visit to the mangrove lined river on the other side of the bay concludes this beautiful day.
