Our expert crew will show you exactly what to do in your "crew members" position. You will attend a briefing session where we will receive a little history of the America's Cup and select the teams. A skipper will brief you about what you can expect and give you training on your specific crew position.
Then it's off to the race course… Grind a winch… Trim a sail… Punch a stop watch, or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the complimentary refreshments. This unique adventure will be the highlight of your holiday. Previous sailing experience is not necessary!
After the race, enjoy the complimentary victory rum punch party, while you browse through our museum souvenir shop. Each regatta takes about 3 hours but it is subject to sea and wind conditions. We try everything to keep the schedule.
We usually sail out everyday, however, in low season from September to November we sometimes do not operate on Sundays. Our departure times vary day by day. Usual departure times: 9:00am, 10:15am, 11:30am, 12:45am, 2:00pm. Check in is always 30 minutes in advance. Choose the preferred departure time and we will let you know if that one is available or offer you an other one close to it. Your credit card will not be charged until you are fully confirmed.
Important: Guests arriving on cruise ships cannot book this tour through Twistour.com. When booking, please provide hotel and room number. If you are booking this tour before arriving to the island, please contact 12 Metre after you have checked into your hotel to confirm reservation. 12 Metre Regatta reserves the right to refuse clients coming on cruise ships and no refund will be honored.

- Age limit without sailing experience: 12+ years
- Participants between 6-16 years must be accompanied by an adult

- Total racing time is about 45 minutes
- Pregnant women and people with back, neck or heart problems are not allowed
- Water and soda on board, rum and fruit punch after return
- There are no toilets on board
- There is dry storage below deck
- Full refund if cancelled at least 7 days before the commencement of the activity, no refund after.
- Full refund if supplier cancels the tour.
- Full refund if cruise ship does not dock in time or does not dock at all and tour is missed.
- No refund if you don’t show up for the activity or if it starts with a pick up and you miss it.
- Supplier gets to decide if the weather is good enough to run the tour.
- In case of a dispute, Twistour has the final word in deciding the amount of refund.
