Description
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will welcome you to our walk-in snorkel park on Sint Maarten located in Dock Maarten Marina where we offer 4 guided tours every day. An informative presentation about Reef-It’s coral reef nursery and safety instructions will prepare you for the snorkel tour. You can also use a fish identification card so that you can spot the many different types of fish that live in the Reef-It Snorkel Park.
Our guide will show you the reef-balls that have been placed along the way. We will make occasional stops to tell you more about the fish, coral nursery and point out the different underwater sights and signs, especially the schools of tropical fish that have made Reef-It’s Snorkel Park their home.
After the snorkel tour refreshing cold drinks are on sale to top off a very well spent 45 minutes in the water of our beautiful Friendly Island.

This tour was amazing! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I must say, thanks to Lamar who never left my side (I think) while in the water. I’m not a strong swimmer and he led me through the tour. I would completely recommend this tour, it’s educational and you are giving back to the development of the coral reef which was destroyed by the hurricane. We saw lots of fish and we were given instructions on how to use equipment and what we would encounter. I had a wonderful time and look forward to a return visit. Just an additional note, the tour site is near the blue zip line building. Wonderful experience. Waters were calm and so so clear. Many fish to be seen and the fish id cards are great. No boat trip, just down a ladder from the great viewing deck and into a superb "Blue Planet" Can't recommend it enough. Staff are fantastic.March 22, 2019

were wonderful and well educated in the variety of marine life and we loved the emphasis on reef conservation. We never felt rushed, we were able to snorkel at our leisure and loved the fish ID cards that you put on your wrist. We saw so many different types of fish and the kids had a great time trying to match them with the fish on the cards. We will definitely be back. If you plan on snorkeling while in St. Maarten then definitely Reef it.

Such a great idea! Staff were really attentive and knowledgeable, the water was crystal clear and the variety of juvenile fish was astounding. Loved the tiled plaques that showed what fish I might encounter- VERY creative! Absolutely loved and support the idea behind the park to re-grow coral reefs and donating some of their proceeds to the Nature Foundation. Such a great activity to do solo, with a group, or family. What a pleasant surprise Reef-It Snorkel Park was to find! We had such fun interacting with the knowledgable staff, swimming in the beautiful waters and seeing such an amazing variety of fish! We have snorkeled all around this island and have never seen so many fish in one area! We also love that Reef-It is helping to re-grow the coral reefs and donating a part of their proceeds to the Sint Maarten Nature Foundation. Reef-It is a wonderful family activity to do on Sint Maarten. I highly recommend it!February 22, 2019

What a wonderful time we had at the Reef-It Snorkel Park! The staff is great and we saw a wonderful variety of fish. Reef-It is promoting the re-growth of the coral reef damaged by hurricane Irma, promoting eco-awareness, and I LOVE that part of the snorkel fee goes directly to the Sint Maarten Nature Foundation.
