Description

Come and meet us in Philipsburg at Amsterdam Cheese and Liquor Store at 9:00 am. This is also the first stop of the tour where you can explore this amazing store after a brief friendly chat with your local guide. As its name tells, you can purchase a selection of high quality imported cheeses, wines, and liquors here.


After free samples of Dutch cheese, we head to the St. Maarten Museum for a quick visit. The museum focuses on local heritage through a variety of topics such as geology, industry, history, archaeology and indigenous cultures. You can even buy Caribbean crafts.


Our next exciting stop is the Yoda Guy Movie Exhibit which is a must see for movie fans. It was created by movie make-up and special effects artist who had a role in creating Yoda in Star Wars movies. The exhibit is not limited to Star Wars, you will see relics from the last sixty years of movie making.


Leaving the exhibit we will head to Caribbean Gems where you can shop magnificent jewelry or just look around and enjoy the luxurious yet friendly atmosphere. We will take a nice walk and pass by famous places worth to see like St. Rose Arcade, Saint Martin of Tours' Church, Philipsburg Courthouse, Center of Philipsburg Globe and the smallest bar in the world which is our last stop.


Juggie's Place is a tiny and welcoming bar where you can have great home made rum if you would like a drink. Juggie also supports breast cancer research, you can leave a bra there too as decoration, supporting the case.


We offer round trip transfer to the capital, we will return you to the starting point and say farewell around 12:00 pm or 5:00 pm depending on which tour you joined.

You will meet your guide in front of the Amsterdam Cheese and Liqour Store in Dock Maarten close to the cruise ship terminal. The guide will wear a bright yellow shirt and will hold a company sign. The store is located approximately ten minutes from the cruise ship terminals. For guests staying in a hotel, we offer complimentary hotel transfer.
