Description
Power up your day with a 2.5-hour speedboat tour along the coastline of Curacao. This powerboat excursion from Jan Thiel beach is the perfect combination of high speed cruising and sightseeing from the water with a refreshing drink at the end.
You will meet the crew at the Zanzibar Restaurant in Jan Thiel beach at 9:45 am in the morning. You will listen to a safety briefing and sign a waiver form before taking your seat in the powerboat. We will cruise through Jan Thiel Bay at slow speed and once we are on open sea we push down the throttle and show you what our powerboat is capable of.
We will pass by Mambo Beach Boulevard and the famous hotels on our way to Willemstad, a UNESCO world heritage site where your captain will slow down to explain a bit of its history. You will have a closer look at the colorful buildings, the famous pontoon bridge and Fort Amsterdam.
We will switch to full speed again as we head to Piscadera Bay, a beautiful lagoon protected by Fort Piscadera built in 1701. We will take a sharp turn here and head back towards Spanish Bay and Fuikaai where we will conclude our Curacao sightseeing speedboat tour with a drink. Hold on to your seat once last time as we go flat out back to our base in Jan Thiel.

We strongly discourage pregnant women and people with back, neck or any other injuries from booking a high-speed boat ride. You participate in the powerboat tour at your own risk. It is important that you are physically able to climb in and out of the boat and that you are able to move with the boat.

I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a thrill. It was very fun, and Irvin provides some Curacao history throughout the tour. The powerboat reaches some serious speeds. It is a nice way to spend an afternoon :) Tamara and Irvin are super nice and inviting, and will make you feel comfortable.

We did the 2,5h trip yesterday. It was absolutely amazing. The way you move on full speed over the waves is so cool. The places you visit and where you can snorkel is beautiful. I Will recommend this to everybody who visits Curaçao. Thank you both for the amazing experience!

This was so much fun. It cost $40 for a cab ride from the port to Jan Thiel Beach. Once we arrived they were waiting for us at the dock. Irvin was so informative of the things and places we saw from the boat. It was a little choppy but that was what made it fun. Hang on ...the boat goes pretty fast through the waters. We were going so fast that a flying fish landed in the boat...pretty cool. Irvin accommodated us and dropped us off in Willemstad so we did not have to pay the hefty taxi price again. We did the 2 hour tour... Do it, you won't regret it.
