Description

Sea Trek St. Maarten is the most incredible Helmet diving experience you will ever have! No training required and no swimming involved! Your hair stays dry and you can wear your prescription glasses.

On the Sea Trek Adventure, you will see: shipwrecks, historical canons from Fort Amsterdam, a sunken Odyssey submarine, King Neptune, a helicopter, an air plane and an abundant variety of fish, corals and sea life- it is like being in your own aquarium! The staff will stay with you at all times- they are safe and a lot of fun! The maximum depth is 20 feet (6 meters) and you will be down for 20-30 minutes.

The tour starts when we pick you up in Bobby’s Marina for a 10 minute boat ride. Once at our site-you can stow away your personal items (not secured) and you will receive a short briefing. Then the real fun begins! There will be time to snorkel, swim or catch some rays in addition to your awesome dive!

After your Sea Trek walk you can enjoy looking at your underwater photos, available for purchase in a USB flip card for only $35. Cameras, t-shirts and more will be for sale. We also have snorkel equipment for you available if you want to watch your fellow participants from the surface.

At the end of your tour, the water shuttle will take you back to Bobby’s Marina. An awesome family adventure! Please make sure you wear your bathing suit. No changing/rest room available on the platform.

Great under water excursion
We had a great time doing the Sea Trek. While we were waiting on the 1st group to go we snorkeled and swam around and had a great time. They are great with families and with teenagers. Would recommend if you are looking for something to do in Sint Maarten.

Fantastic exhilarating experience
A fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations from start to finish. We were met and taken on a short ride to the dive site. All the details were well explained and the gents running the boat kept everyone well informed.
Once at the dive site the staff fully briefed everyone and put everyone at ease, at least most, as my wife was extremely nervous. More on that in a moment.
As we were in the second group to dive, we spent a while snorkelling and were in awe at the surroundings. But this was just the start.
When our turn came to dive the staff took great care to make sure we were set and comfortable. My three teenage lads went down with nervous faces. My wife was next and she was gripped with fear. She started to descend but was uncomfortable so resurfaced. The staff were there at all times, comforted her and helped her have another go. At no point did they pressure her. I had made my way to the sea floor by this stage and was delighted to see her, accompanied by a staff member, make it down. The dive itself was so much more than we ever expected, having never dived before, and there were smiles under each helmet. I have no idea how long the dive took but it was plenty long enough. Surfacing back up the ladder and emerging onto the dive boat the smiles just got wider and wider. My wife's realisation of what she had just done almost had her in tears of joy. We purchased the photos that the divers took and with this there was a small problem. When we got home, we looked at the phots but they were the wrong group. Once again, the service was excellent and a quick exchange of e-mails corrected this and we soon received the correct photos.
Could not recommend highly enough and huge thank you to all the staff.

Once in a lifetime experience - right from the start the guys where informative, friendly and helpful - they couldn’t have done anymore - I was apprehensive as I’m claustrophobic but the guides are wonderful and explain everything clearly - the experience is daunting but after the first few steps down the ladder I was fine - this is must do! Also snorkelling after the trek was great - again the staff are very helpful and take pictures and chat about the island :) 5stars all round

Truly one of the BEST excursions we've ever done - WONDERFUL and EXPERIENCED staff, BEAUTIFUL underwater experience (even for someone who doesn't like fish!), and the rum punches - delish! Got to see and have the opportunity to interact with TONS of fish. Got to hold a sea urchin and touch other sea life... They take LOTS of pictures that you can purchase... sadly our pics didn't turn out due to the fish photo-bombing us lol... The excursion was worth every penny - will definitely do again! There isn't a restroom - so go before!

On a side note; we had a women in our group that was wheelchair bound and to be honest, at first, I wasn't sure how she would be able to enjoy this type of excursion… the professional drivers were AMAZNIG, patient and kind and not only did she participate, her smile afterwards was infectious!

Wonderful and exciting adventure. On visit to St. Martin I took my grandchildren helmet diving. They loved it. The people running this tour were absolutely terrific. They took such care of everyone.
In addition we were able to snorkle. We traveled by boat to the dive site. Rum punch for those of age was enjoyed by all. Whitney was so kind. And shared info on how the island fared thru hurricane Irma and maria. Everyone was so friendly
It was the highlight of our cruise. Cannot wait to do it again. A boat ride, helmet diving, snorkeling, friendly conversations and rum punch -what more can you ask for!

We went in May 2018 and it was murky water. We could not see anything. We also bought a USV for pictures which were not on it!! There is no infor to report pictures are missing. But we do have pictures of people we don't know.

Would be nice in good weather and if you buy a USV make should your pixs are on it.

Many times when we go on these excursions things are disgusting and disorganized, but I am happy to report that this is the best run excursion we have had. The people are friendly, knowledgeable, they are genuinely nice people, their equipment is well maintained and new. It is well run and organized. It was a very welcome surprise to finally go on an excursion that is worth the money and doesn’t make us want to sterilize our bodies after we return. Tip them big, they do a really great job.

The only con I will mention is that I am highly claustrophobic and the helmet was a bit strange for me. It took me a few trials to finally get down and once I was down it was fine. They are not pushy about it and really do try to help you get use to it. Glad I did it, the walk was fun and the fish are beautiful

Camille, Zet blacks, Sammy, Kevin, Avery & Malina did such an amazing job it's hard to put this into words. We booked this through our cruise line last week and it didn't disappoint. The crew was helpful, encouraging, fun and professional! If you are on the fence about what excursion to book, do this one. This is a one of a kind experience and we will definitely be doing this again if the chance arises.

We chose this excursion due to the fact my daughter cant see anything with her glasses and Sea Trek helmets allowed her to dive with her glasses on. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were taken down in two separate groups. One groups gets to snorkel while the other group dives. I took my Go Pro to record our adventure and the staff also took photos of us while we there. The allowed us to hold a few "sea creatures" as well, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed (reluctantly). They put all of the photos they took on thumb drives and sell them at a reasonable price as well a refreshing cocktail after you are finished. Cant wait to do this again on my next trip.

I have mobility issues and ride a scooter to get around, although I can walk. I was so thrilled with how accommodating everyone who worked for this excursion were. They were so supportive and helpful. The boat drivers/workers even lifted my scooter onto the transport boat. Then at the dive place, the workers were very supportive and put my concerns and mind at ease. If you can climb down a ladder in water, you can do this. And i'm so glad I did. It was an amazing adventure and I appreciate everyone who was so supportive for someone with a disability.

My family of 5 just went on the sea trek, June 14 2018. Our twin 15 year olds and 9 year old had a blast!! I was a little apprehensive with the astronaut type helmet at first but it wasn't bad at all. staff very informative. They take pictures while you are on your trek under water. You can take go pros and underwater cameras with you also. They will even put pictues on a jump drive if u purchase it. We were broke up into 2 groups. when not on the trek you can go snorkeling. We had a great time. My family enjoyed this store excursion very much. Recommend to all.
