If you take the ferry from Oyster Pond, it is only 30 minutes to St Barths. You eliminate all the airport check-in formalities, so it's a quick comfortable trip at some savings. On the down side, Oyster pond is about a 30 minute drive from the airport. The crossing is comfortable, and the staff were really helpful.

Took the boat from St. Martin to St. Bart's for a day trip. The boat was not amazing but it was generally comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when I got sea sick. It was very rough water on the way to St. Bart's. I've never gotten sea sick before, but this did me in. A staff member brought me a bag just in time. Definitely get some seasickness pills before traveling. I did while on St. Bart's and the trip back was fine and much smoother waters overall.

The trip from St. Maarten to St. Barts took 45 minutes. The seas were very high due to a tropical system in the area. Sitting up front was like a roller coaster. A few people were getting sick in the back. The crew went out of their way to make everyone comfortable from the rolling seas. They brought drinks out to everyone, cleaned up after a few people. Much better than I expected.

The water was choppy when we took the Voyager from Oyster Pond to St. Barths. But the comfortable seating and friendly crew (who served drinks and some medicinal herbs for the motion sickness) helped tremendously.

I had a great experience with that boat charter company for my ferry ride from Oyster Pond to St. Barth.
Staff was very pleasant and the ride was smooth. Treated myself to business class on the upper deck with extra large seats and a delicious pineapple juice while onboard.
They were also very quick and unbureaucratic in refunding me my prepaid return trip as I had to book a flight instead due to a conflict with my connecting flight from St. Martin to Toronto.
    Highly recommend them.

We traveled from Oyster Pond, St. Martin, FWI to St. Bart's and had a lovely day. The Voyager traveled on schedule on a bright sunny day. The seas were calm traveling to and from St. Bart's in the same day. There were a few options to select when we arrived. We chose the ferry both ways and a land package that included a taxi shared with others to highlight points of interest in St. Bart's followed by lunch in a small restaurant called Carpe Diem. The handsome young French man who arranged the ground package was around or visible much of the day making certain everyone was where they needed to be for travel. The crew on the Voyager were professional and friendly while maintaining safety and a smooth ride. Rumor had said rough choppy seas and sea sickness, but that was not the case for our trip. We were happy we visited St. Bart's. We were disappointed to not see an airplane land on the small landing strip.

We traveled on Voyager 3 to St Barths from Oyster Pond St Maarten. It was very convenient cruise in a clean, new ferry. Well worth the money but very pricey.

After reading a number of reviews, I was worried about utilizing the ferry service over to Saint Barths. After making sure we read all of the fine print on the website and holding off on ordering our tickets until the day before, we had a fairly easy trip. Online ticket purchase was very easy and you have to make sure you go to the proper port (depending on the day, the departure port changes). We arrive half an hour early as requested on the ticket, found parking fairly easily, and checked into the ferry within 10 minutes. We had a rough ride going over to the island because of the storm that had just passed but the ferry captain seemed to navigate the large waves with no problem. We were supposed to get a free drink on the ride over but due to the waves they cancelled that service. You can opt to sit upstairs or down stairs once you board the ferry. For our return, the ride was much smoother and we did get our free drinks. It was just fruit juice watered down. Overall the experience was fine. You just have to be cautious and make sure to read the rules of the ferry service.
