Description

Meet your friendly crew in Caracas Bay at the 'Meat the Fish' (Pirates Nest) restaurant at 9:30 am and set sail at 10:00 am. Cruise with us along the beautiful coastline of Curacao to the island’s top snorkeling sites.


Settle in for a scenic ride around the Spanish Water Lagoon dotted by mega yachts and luxury villas along the shore. Then sail out into the open sea for about 20 minutes to the first snorkeling spot known as the Underwater World.


Swim in the beautiful turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea to a magnificent drop off where you can view columns of corals where many colorful tropical fishes and sea horses live. Keep an eye out for turtles, sting rays and also lobsters hiding under the rocks.


Enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch and drinks from the open bar as we sail to our second snorkeling site, the famous sunken tugboat. Snorkel there to see large schools of fishes and the almost intact shipwreck resting only 17 feet (5 meters) deep.


Enjoy a few more drinks and fruits as we sail back to our departure point by 2:30 pm.

    We had nothing to complain about this trip: good organisation, good boat, nice trip in the Spanish Waters. However, we snorkeled near an industrial site, full of fish and full of coral, but still industrial. I would recommend this trip only to beginners and tourists with limited time on the island.

    Thank you for your reply. We snorkel at the sunken Tugboat, the most famous snorkel spot in Curacao. Unfortunately it happened to sink close to an industrial site but the water is still crystal clear and full of fish and coral. We are happy you still enjoyed the trip!

    This was great day at sea. Captain Fritz was great as well as the rest of the crew. There is an open bar so drink up. Lol. You sail to your first spot and snorkel where you can see some pretty cool fish. Then you set sail again and by this time there is a nice spread put out for lunch. If you don’t eat meat, the crew is happy to make you a vegan burger which is not bad. Then your second spot you stop at is the infamous sunken tugboat which is definitely a sight to see. Amazing fish surround the boat, so if you have a go pro I recommend taking it. Then back to the boat, for more drinks lol and sail back. I definitely recommend this tour.

    Of our 4 island cruise vacation this was one of our favorite tours.
    We had the best time ever!
    I can honestly say that the snorkeling was not that great but the fun we had with the crew on the boat and swimming in the water made this the most memorable part of our vacation.
    We are already planning a return visit!

    Our family of four enjoyed our trip. To be fair, my husband arranged for this trip, so I did not know what to expect. Thankfully, the crew was courteous and professional; the catamaran clean and spacious; the weather cooperative; and the lunch - simply excellent (one of the best we've had over the years). If drinking is your thing, you will enjoy the open bar. I'm no teetotaler, but my hat is off to all those people who enjoyed the libations and managed to stay upright during the trip. Note to future travelers. If you take any medication that says "avoid sunlight", then take heed. I normally am okay with 50 SPF, but since the sun is always shining on Curacao, take extra precaution. My poor sunburned nose. :(

    We LOVED this excursion!!! From the reviews, I expected the wonderful snorkeling, great crew, and open bar... But I wasn't expecting how greatly enjoyable it was to cruise around, simply getting a tour and enjoying the ride and weather. I thoroughly enjoyed this and wish I was back there.

    Loved this excursion. The snorkeling sites were great and the crew were very professional, helpful, and friendly. Lunch was delicious, with options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Recommend this trip!

    Met z'n 5en zijn we met deze tour mee geweest. Het kostte omgerekend zo'n €75 pp. Dit was een all in prijs! We werden opgehaald bij het hotel en naar de haven gebracht. Je gaat met 50 man een catamaran op. Je vaart eerst zo'n 2 uur rond langs mooie huizen en mooi uitzicht. De catamaran ligt heel stabiel, dus als je snel zeeziek bent kan je dit nog wel hebben. Je gaat ook een stuk de zee op waarna de zeilen worden gehezen. Als je snel zeeziek bent is dit het punt dat je misselijk gaat worden...
    Ze lopen de hele tijd rond met drinken, wat echt goed is geregeld (ook een paar soorten alcohol zitten er bij). De cocktail "sex on the boot" is een echte aanrader.

    Na een paar uur heerlijk te hebben rond gevaren kom je bij het eerste snorkel punt aan. Hier ga je met de hele groep het water in. 1 iemand van de bemanning gaat voorop en 1 achterop. Je gaat een stuk langs de kust snorkelen en dan onder een pier door. Was heel gaaf en mooi.
    Aandachtspunt voor je: let aub op, het is niet heel diep en als je verticaal in het water gaat wapperen met je flippers, dan raak je het koraal op de bodem!!! Dus let alsjeblieft op en raak het koraal niet aan....

    Na dit snorkel moment ga je eten: een BBQ lunch. Was prima. De hamburgers waren wat hard en het vlees was niet heel warm, maar de smaak was goed. En er was echt meer dan genoeg! Ik heb mensen 4x eten zien halen en nog was er genoeg.
    Aandachtspunt voor mensen met een pinda allergie: ze hebben pindasaus voor de saté. Staat wel apart in een bakje, maar als je heel erg allergisch bent moet je dus wel even opletten en/of eigen eten meenemen.

    Daarna verrek je naar het tweede snorkel punt. Hier kan je vrij snorkelen, maar je moet opletten dat je binnen het aangegeven gebied blijft vanwege de stroming. Hier ligt ook een gezonken boot. Was heel gaaf om hier te snorkelen.

    Op de weg terug naar de haven kregen we nog verse ananas an meloen. Echt super lekker!

    We hebben echt een leuke dag gehad en het was goed verzorgd! Onbeperkt drinken en het eten was ook goed geregeld.

    De enige reden dat ik geen 5 sterren geef is dat het eerste snorkel punt niet heel bijzonder was, maar gewoon mooi.

    De bemanning was goed getraind en daarom wil ik nog even extra complimenten geven aan hun: Aron, Koen en.... Jullie hebben er een mooie dag van gemaakt afgelopen vrijdag Heel erg bedankt!

    Nog een tip als je van zoete drankjes houdt: vraag Aron naar de cocktail van 3 likeuren

    This is the best catamaran trip we have ever done,and we have been on many!
    If you are on a cruise,make sure you book through Bounty's web site,We didn't know they have a bus for $8 and we paid $40 for a taxi one way,but took the bus back.
    We like the second snorkel spot the best!
    The crew is amazing, so friendly and fun! Would go again in a minute!

    A must tour if you are ever in Curacao. We Have taken this attraction two times and each time has been great. The crew is wonderful and the lunch is just great.Will be back for another trip next year.

    We booked this trip for our cruise ship stop in Curacao. I did not have internet on the ship and was not aware that there is a bus that can take you directly to Pirates Nest Restaurant. We ended up taking a taxi and paying $40 (one way). The bus trip back to the dock only cost us $9/pp. Please look at their website for more details on this. Captain Fritzs, Marni, and Koon (sorry if I didn't spell your names correctly) put everyone at ease and made the trip so much fun. We toured a nearby area and saw the beautiful homes before heading out for a sail. We made two snorkel stops with lunch in between. The snorkel sites were fantastic! Bring an underwater camera with you for all the amazing fish and coral. I did notify them that I don't eat red meat and they grilled some very tasty white fish for me. There was an open bar and the drinks were great.
    I highly recommend this trip.

    Our captain, Steve, was wonderful along with his crew! He not only provided great snorkeling, food, and drink, but gave us an overview of the islands interesting history. He definitely knows his stuff! It made for a fantastic day.

    My family of 6 joined this 4 hour sail last week and had a blast! The crew from Bounty Adventures was AWESOME and the food/open bar was great.

    The boat ride can get pretty bumpy, so take that into consideration, but it was so much fun! My dad usually doesn't stomach boat rides very well, but he was perfectly fine and enjoyed this trip a lot. We visited two snorkel spots - the Tug Boat spot was incredible. We also got to dock the catamaran for a little while and dive/flip off into the water.

    We can't recommend this trip enough!

    We booked this trip through our hotel and were picked up by a super fun decorated bus- few pick ups on the way and then straight to the Catamaran. Our crew was hilariously entertaining- Fernando, Eugene and Ian! Ian lead us through two snorkeling expeditions that were beautiful- so many fish!! Fernando made excellent drinks too! Plus, the BBQ lunch was to die for- seriously some of the best food on the island thus far! Overall, great day on and in the water

    Bus picked us up right on time at our resort. Pick some others up along the way.
    Arrived at their office (at an outdoor restaurant). Filled out the waiver paperwork and had a chance to relax. Boarded the catamaran and had a safety briefing from the Captain.
    Went around the Spanish waters to see some villas and yachts. Spent more time doing this than I preferred. Drinks were served. Water was choppy as we left the harbor.
    Stopped near a pier to snorkel. Saw a lot of coral and some fish. A guide was in the water with us the entire time.
    Had a BBQ lunch on board. Chef grilled on the catamaran.
    Sailed past a nice resort and then stopped near a sunken tugboat. LOTS of colorful fish. The boat was interesting to look at.
    Had a great time and would do it again.

    We had a blast with the crew as they were very enthusiastic, helpful & ensured everyone had fun! The food was fantastic & we loved the rum punch drinks throughout our tour. We’ve been on many catamaran tours in the Caribbean over the past few years & the crew really made this tour fun. We may have booked elsewhere had we known that the one of the snorkeling stops was at an oil drilling rig. We honestly thought they were joking when one of the crew indicated we would be snorkeling at an oil rig. Curaçao is known for its beautiful coral reefs & we couldn’t understand why they’d choose to take customers anywhere near an unsightly oil rig. We would have also loved more open water sailing vs. touring the homes near the company’s location. All of that said, we had a great time due to the crew & the outstanding food/drinks!
