We will take you to La Romana to board our roomy catamaran. On our way from Punta Cana, we will pass by alluring sugar cane fields and your guide will tell you compelling stories about the Dominican culture and history, as well as the famous rum making techniques of the country.
Once everybody is on board, we will head to the pristine Catalina Island. We will stop at the Wall, a marvelous coral wall that extends from the island to the Caribbean Sea. Your experienced guide will provide information and instructions on how to use the equipment. Then you will have about one hour in the water where your instructor will teach you how to SNUBA. Explore the sea and team up with schools of tropical fish, such as parrot fish, French grunt and, sergeant major.
After a fun time in the water, we will make our way to a private beach club, Playa Grande. It is an exceptional beach on the island with two kilometers of soft, white-sand beaches, and bright blue waters. Playa Grande also offers an open bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.
You will have enough time to relax and perfect your tan while listening to music at the club, go for a refreshing swim, or even rent a kayak, or paddle board at a charge. Lunch will be also served at Playa Grande.
Taste the delicious Dominican cuisine and enjoy a typical BBQ lunch buffet on the postcard-worthy beach. (lunch)
