Teeth of the Dog

The course got its unusual name from the jagged rock formations along the ocean’s edge. It’s the best of the best, being the top course in not only the Dominican Republic but in the Caribbean, as well. The holes are not only on the water, but they are also very challenging. The fifth one is an extremely short hole with no room to miss short, left or even right. The eight can be as long as 235 yards, most of it above water. 

Punta Espada

Punta Espada is famous for the pure beauty of the course and its unparalleled views to the Caribbean Sea from almost every point on the golf course. The Cap Cana course features eight holes that play along and over the sea. The challenging holes create a par 72 course which has been the host of several notable international championships.

Home to prestigious golf events

The Corales Puntacana Resort & Club made history by hosting the first PGA Tour event in the Dominican Republic last year. 132 professional players got to enjoy their exclusive 18-hole course along the dramatic coastline. The event took place this year with the same success, as well. However, it’s not only professional golfers that get a special treatment in Punta Cana.
