Anguilla is the most envied island in the Caribbean for the caliber and quantity of its beaches. The most pristine of all, Shoal bay, is rated one of the world's best with its truly spectacular miles of long curving ribbon of white powdery sand held in the protective arms of crystal clear water. Snorkeling is realized in an abundance of sea life that thrives on the coral reef at beach's edge. Shoal Bay is located in a marine park with exceptional underwater biodiversity. The package includes a 20 minute speed boat ride to Anguilla where a guided mini island tour awaits you to discover its unique treasures. You will spend the day at Shoal Bay with BBQ lunch, hammocks, paddle board and snorkel gear all included in the price! Enjoy the jaw-dropping beach, explore the reef, take nap in a hammock under the palm trees or rent a bicycle and discover the rest of the island! Additionally to our package, we have special events on Tuesdays and Sunday.
Lobster fest on every Tuesday
Every Tuesday we have a lobster fest which includes lobster lunch for no additional charge and we usually also have a live Calypso band playing on the beach!
Reggae party on every Sunday
Every Sunday there is a live reggae band on the beach! Best way to finish the week partying with your feet in the sand at one of the world's most exclusive beaches! If you still want tranquility, Shoal Bay is still large enough to get yourself some privacy.
Itinerary
The check-in is in Simpson Bay at 8:15am, close to the airport. (You will receive exact directions for check-in location after reservation.) You will meet our staff at the terminal who will take your passport and sign you up for the boat. We leave as soon as everybody is checked in, usually by 9am. You will board the boat and arrive to Anguilla within 30 minutes.
Once you disembark the boat, you go through immigration and present your passport. Keri, your guide, will be waiting for you outside. You will hop into the island tour bus and head to the other side of Anguilla, to Shoal bay. Keri will tell you about the history of Anguilla and its people on the way.
You will be dropped off at the Tropical Sunset Beach Restaurant in Shoal Bay, where your order will be immediately taken. Your choice consists of chicken, ribs, cheeseburger, veggie burger, tuna sandwich with rice and peas or French fries. A bottle of water and choice of a fruit or rum punch, or soft drink will be served.
Beach chairs are yours to use. You can borrow snorkeling gear and paddle board for free. Umbrellas are 5 dollars. There are hammocks as well stretched out between the trees for our guests only. Walk down the beach to the far right where you can enter the water and the soft current will bring you back to the restaurant effortless as you snorkel.
The bus will pick you up at 3.30 PM to bring you back to the port where you will board the boat back to Sint Maarten. You will arrive back to Simpson Bay around 4:30pm.
