From beginners to the more experienced mixers, everyone will enjoy the opportunity to make something unique. Our 1-hour Mix & Match class is the perfect chance to get a basic understanding of perfume creation. Follow this quick guiding session where you are assisted with making your very own signature scent.
During the class you will receive guidance from our experts and you will get to choose from over 300 oils to design your own fragrance. The session takes about 60-90 minutes.
Many first time perfumers come back to us again and again to continue crafting more of their own distinct fragrances or simply reorder their first created fragrance. You will get to bring home your own, handcrafted bottle of fragrance, a VIP gift bag full of goodies as well as a perfume making workbook.

We are located on the French side of St. Martin, in Grand Case at 1 L'Esperance Road, close to Octopus Diving. It is at the very beginning of the main street “Boulevard de Grand Case”. If you are coming from the Grand Case Airport, drive all the way to the end of the road where it hits the beach. We are located at the end of the road on the right side.

This was on our "bucket list" for the next time we went to St. Martin and we were not disappointed. We signed up Nov. 15 for the 60-90 minute class. It was so much fun and not only did we leave with our signature scent, but also a bag of other goodies. John Berglund is the owner and very knowledgeable. From the cruise port it takes normally about 20 minutes by cab, but allow longer due to the heavy traffic. After the class, John directed us to one of his favorite restaurants just down the road in Grand Case, called the Rainbow Café. We had a great French lunch at an outdoor café directly on the beach sipping a chilled glass of white French wine! What could be better! Try this excursion and you won't be disappointed.November 21, 2018

My wife Lisa and I were apprehensive about what to expect post Irma in hard hit Grand Case. So glad we did. She is all smiles. Tijon was not damaged by Irma so no worries. Many businesses were hard hit in Grand Case but don’t let that stop you from enjoying St. Martin. They are very quickly rebuilding. Tijon is open for business 100%.November 20, 2018
Tijon is a super fun, educational and unique experience. Short notice appointment by e-mail and squeezed in. Greeted by John and Cindy with warm hospitality be advised 90 minute session gets you started. Great value and very memorable. We rented a car from Phillipsburg for $35 per day and made Tijon the first stop. Cindy is so friendly and goes out of her way to make sure the experience is what you expect. While Lisa was in the lab, I found my way to a local pub. Parking in front of Tijon has about 6 spots so rent a car from hotel or cruise port. Ladies you will love it. Good luck with your rebuild Cindy and John. A-plus!

This "excursion" was a lot of fun. John was a great host and teacher. My daughter and I created some great scents with this guidance. I felt like a student in a chemistry class measuring and mixing ingredients! This was one chemistry class that I could actually enjoy!
We had our driver pick us up later and went to the beach - Grand Case. It was the best and most beautiful of our cruise. The Rainbow Restaurant was excellent as well.This little town suffered a lot of damage from the hurricanes and needs alot of rebuilding, but I highly recommend a visit for the Perfume Experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed mixing our own perfume from hundreds of combinations of fragrances. John and his staff really made us feel welcomed. We spent 1.5 hours which was a little rushed, but came home with our own branded scent in a lovely bottle. Would recommend you sign up for the 3 hour option if it’s offered on your cruise. And, as you suggest, for those who share our passion and love for fragrances and wish to have more time to explore and experiment, it's better done in the longer 3 hour class. But do know that 90% of our perfumers prefer the 90 minute experience and finish within that time frame or shortly thereafter. My girlfriend did a course to learn (learning in a funny way) to mix perfumes. She loved it!
John Berglund explained her with lot of patience and professionalism how to do, and then let her go trough the whole process, she had fun smelling the scents mixing them and at the end we ended up buying 2 of the 3 perfumes she created.
This is definitely something not to miss when visiting Saint Martin!

Searching online to find something new to do while in St. Martin for the day during a cruise, I came across this. So glad that we settled on doing this! We were able to get on the little cart right off the ship and he knew right where to drop us off after he dropped off those wanting a taxi. Shortly, the driver and van arrived, and we were off across the island to the French side (we had docked on the Dutch side). After you pick your favorite pre-mixed perfume, they have an idea of what you like to recommend some, but you are perfectly free to pick any base and then 3 notes to add to 3 different mixes. Wow, so many choices; it takes some time to settle on what to try. When you are happy with which you like best, they have you mix it up and pour it into a spray bottle to take home. There is a lovely gift bag with some nice size samples and includes a sample of the premixed you chose to start with (at least on our tour) which was a surprise to us. We are home now and scent is such a strong reminder - we love to wear our cologne and remember our experience and the islands.June 17, 2018

My 11 year old daughter picked this excursion and I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought perhaps the owners would do all the basic mixing and we would add the finishing touches. Not the case at all. We mixed our scent from start to finish and had a wonderful time experimenting and learning quite a bit. John was there to guide us every step of the way and the people we were seated with were having just as much fun as we were, which made it that much better. We also chose the name of our scent and then bottled it to take home, along with the recipe and ability to order more if we run out. We literally have our own perfume! The building was immaculately clean and the overall experience was very positive. You won't regret doing this.January 11, 2018
