Meet us at 9:15 am at Dock Maarten in Philipsburg which is only a short walking distance from the cruise ship terminal. Board your private catamaran and get ready for a fun-filled adventure around Sint Maarten / St. Martin and explore the amazing beaches and uninhabited islands of each side. Our basic itinerary is created to show you the best of the island but you can alter it the way you want (and possible).
Once everybody is on board we begin our private trip cruising along dazzling coastline of the island, passing by Great Bay, Little Bay and Simpson Bay. We will also pass the world famous Maho Beach where we might be lucky enough to see a large passenger plane taking off or landing.
Next we will cruise around Terre Basses (also called Low Lands) and have a glimpse of the island's most luxurious resorts and villas as we sail along Long Bay and Plum Bay. Even Donald Trump owns a villa here which is actually the most expensive one.
As we travel deeper into the French side of St. Martin we will pass by Marigot, the capital of the French side. Then we finally arrive to our first snorkeling stop, the beautiful Cerole Rock which is a rock formation in the middle of the French Nature Reserve that hosts exceptional snorkeling.
After exploring the reef we will head to Grand Case for a hearty Caribbean style lunch at a beach restaurant, the Lolo's. It is the place where the locals go to eat. Authentic tastes and large plates are guaranteed! Lunch includes BBQ ribs or chicken served with rice, peas, green salad, potato salad, slaw and fried plantain. If you want something more, you can order grilled fish, shrimp in creole sauce or lobster for an extra fee. We also offer a vegetarian option which is a delicious mix of salads with rice and peas.
When everybody's tummy is full we will take a trip to the lovely Tintamarre Island which is an uninhabited Marine park reserve. You will have the time to explore the beach, swim and snorkel with turtles, try the paddle board, or just relax in the turquoise water while we serve delicious cocktails.
Our last stop for the day is Pinel Island, but only if time allows. It is a pristine little paradise surrounded by shallow water and postcard-worthy snorkeling spots. There is much more to do here than snorkeling itself. Take a comfortable hike for the panoramic views, feed the friendly iguanas and explore the tiny beach side shops.
From here we will have a lovely trip back to Dock Maarten and arrive at 3:30 pm. You will still have the chance to hit the boardwalk for some shopping or just head back to your ship or hotel to relax.
Check in at Dock Maarten which is approximately 10 minutes walk from the cruise ship terminal. Once you exit the cruise ship terminal, turn left and walk over to the neighboring marina called Dock Maarten and look for our big blue catamaran. You can also opt to leave from Simpson Bay if you are staying in a hotel. We will advise exact check-in location and time after reservation.
