Itinerary
You will meet your guide, Yoan, waiting for you at the port in Marigot. He will welcome you and give you a briefing about how your day is going to go before boarding the ferry over to St. Barth.
Once we arrive to Gustavia, we will go through immigration. As you exit the terminal, your guide will introduce you to your taxi driver, Florian. He will escort you around the island, stop at the best viewpoints, explain the history of St. Barth and spot out the celebrities' houses. Floriant speaks French, English and a little Spanish. He is the most well-known taxi driver on the island. He is often hired by celebrities and Russian billionaires too. The tour will last 1 hour and finish at the Carpe Diem restaurant which is famous among both locals and visitors about their excellent food.
After lunch, it is up to you how you want to spend the rest of the day. You can walk over to Shell Beach, a unique beach with a beach made out of shells. You may walk around in the charming little town of Gustavia, visit the many luxury stores, museum and old fort. Gustavia is a relatively small town, everything is within walking distance, you will not have to take a taxi. You will have to be back at the port by 5 pm for boarding the boat and sail back to St. Martin in the sunset.
Please mind that the taxi tour does not include beach time and the only beach you can walk over to after the tour is Shell Beach. If you want to visit an other beach, you will have to take a taxi. Depending on the amount of people, one group may do the taxi tour in the morning and the other one in the afternoon. It does not make much difference but you can always advise the guide which one you would prefer.
