Description

Start the complete sightseeing tour of Curacao with a pick up at your hotel or the cruise ship terminal between 8:15 and 9:00 am. Exact pick up time will be advised after reservation. Round trip transfer is available from most major hotels but if you stay in a remote area, you will have to come to a certain pick up location closest to you.

This guided tour of Curacao will take you through the highlights of the island while the guide explains more about its history and culture. You will discover the colorful houses of Punda and Otrobanda, the Pietermaai district and the Jewish neighborhood in Scharloo. You will visit the floating market and the pontoon bridge.

We will visit the Curacao Liquor Factory where the world famous Blue Curacao is made. Learn about this unique drink in a guided tour. Cross the famous Queen Juliana Bridge on the way to the West side of Curacao. We will stop for a quick lunch at a charming local restaurant called E Lanternu (meal is not included in the price) before continuing the island tour.

The tour will visit Christoffel National Park including West Point and the Boca Tabla Cave where you will get to take amazing photos. As we pass by the salt pond, keep an eye out for wild flamingos.

We will finish the tour with a photo stop at Knip Beach before returning you to your hotel or the cruise ship terminal.

Hotel and villa guests: We offer round trip transfer from most major hotels. If you stay in a villa or at a remote hotel, you will have to come to the nearest place where we pick up.

Cruise ship passengers: There are two cruise terminals, the lager cruise terminal is called MegaPier and the other terminal is the Matheywerf / Motetwerf. If your ship docks at the MegaPier, your tour departs from outside the entrance of the Renaissance Hotel, which is a short walk from the ship. Upon debarking the ship, please head to the main gate and walk towards the Renaissance Hotel (this is the colorful building). Take a left before the building and before crossing the road to the Starbucks, make a right. You will get to the entrance of the hotel. Please wait outside, in front of the hotel lobby/casino entrance. Your guide will be at the meeting location wearing a yellow polo.

If your ship docks at the Matheywerf / Motetwerf, upon debarkation, please head towards the barrier. Your tour departs from just outside of the barrier (security booth). The guide will be at the meeting location wearing a yellow polo.

Great tour and guide!

Wonderful time had by entire family on this tour. Mike was knowledgeable and added to the experience, what a great young man. Only wish we had taken tour at the beginning of our vacation rather than at the end.

Excellent, well thought-out itinerary

The tour visited diverse locations in the city center as well as distant parts of the island. The guide was very familiar with a range of things including details of the history, culture, flora and fauna, and current politics. My pick-up was prompt. The air conditioned bus was basic but adequately comfortable. The lunch stop was adequate but not exceptional. Overall, this was certainly better than renting a car for a day and trying to navigate to the numerous places included. I'm not sure what issue the other reviewers had, but perhaps it was luck of the draw of the particular guide.

Nice tour

This was a nice tour. We got to see a lot of the island if only briefly at each stop. But, we were trying to get a sense for the island and we did. There is a lot of driving time but we covered a lot of ground. Personally, I was not a big fan of the restaurant we stopped at for lunch. Food was pretty simple and basic think sandwiches, just OK. Gorgeous beaches but just to look at on this trip and the north shore with its crashing waves was awesome.

Curacao first time

We had a cruise featuring 10 islands. Tour with ... MIKE? was in my opinion the bast of all tour guides!Itinerary was well planned and everything was well balanced. The only thing is the restaurant was quite plain, but we were told that there were no others , hence for those who needed a snack it was good.

Excellent adventure

Did full day tour with Mike. Really got to see a lot of island and learned some history and experienced some culture. In Curaçao for short time so this was great way to see a lot in little time. Guide was personable and knowledgeable. We got to see parts of National Park that other guides don’t have access to. Company was quick to respond to emails regarding tour set up. Highly recommend the company!

Incomplete tour

This was an incomplete tour of Curaçao with a lazy impatient young Dutch guide who knew less than some of us who read a few pages about the island prior to this trip. Dont waste your time and money. There are better tours on offer with fantastic local guides who wholeheartedly want to introduce their island to you
