Description
Ever felt like treating yourself and your family to a once in a lifetime experience? Here is your chance to buckle up and enjoy personalized VIP treatment on our Jungle Rally VIP Private Tour. Book the vehicle just for yourself, family or friends. We will drive you out into the countryside, in air-conditioned off road Jeeps fitted with special off road suspension and loaded with a fully stocked bar.
Your driver will come and pick you up in the morning at your hotel. He will tell you all you need to know about the Dominican Republic in our own inimitable style, he’ll also become your personal butler and friend by the end of the day as he caters to your every need.
Your day will start with a typical Dominican passion fruit cocktail at the famous Macao beach. We continue on and stop at a school in El Caño village to visit a local school. It is one of the schools that we sponsor so you get to see how you give back to the local communities just by being on the tour! The children will welcome you with the biggest smiles ever!
Our delicious lunch will definitely be a huge highlight; all at a mountain ranch you’ll never forget with breathtaking panoramic views of the Bavaro and Punta Cana coastline.
In this unique VIP Safari Private Tour you’ll be invited into a country home owned by a family that has been in the area for centuries! Once you’ve had a glimpse of Dominican country living, you’ll get to walk through their coffee and cacao plantations and even get a chance to buy the organic goods that are produced on-site.
You’ll then be one of the few tourists who have the chance to visit a coconut-oil production farm where everything from the shell to the nut is an asset! This is the purest coconut oil available anywhere and they’ll show you anything and everything that can be made from a coconut.
Your private tour guide will put on some Caribbean music, hang a few hammocks for your comfort, and open the bar for those of you who want to relax and enjoy the true dreamlike state of island life. You can go down to the Anamuya River and chill by the shore or float on one of the tubes with a cocktail in your hand. At the end of the tour, we will return you to your hotel by 4:30 pm.

Best day of our holiday

Amazing experience!
Don’t miss this opportunity! Take a private tour with Baldomar. His knowledge of history and culture is a once in a lifetime experience. He is fun, engaging and you get a real feel for the people of the DR. Well worth the money. I’ll never eat another nestle chocolate bar without thinking of the hard work that went into making it. Lots to see and do, a fabulous way to see some of the Country and learn about their cultures and daily life. Visited local school, a local family house, how to make coffee and chocolate from beans, a swim in the river, and a lovely lunch in a mountain restaurant with great views. Highly recommended.

One of the best experiences we‘ve ever had
We booked the VIP Jungle Rally Tour with our Travelguide who already recommended us to go with Suzie. Definitely the right decision. We had had a wonderful day getting to know the little details of the life in the Dominican Republic. We visited a local primary school (one of the many schools Outback Adventures supports with uniforms, books and much more), a local farmer (Nelson produces coffee, cocoa, vanilla, bananas and cinnamon) where we got to taste all of the above and assisted in the process of refining them. The next step was the outback adventure ranch with live animals local artists and a little cigar manufacturer. After lunch at the ranch it was time for some bathing in a small jungle river and the infamous cocoloco (heavily rum-infused coconutwater right from the coconut. Straws and little umbrellas were provided ;) )
The whole tour was in German due to Suzie being a German native living in the Dominican Republic for about eight years.
We had the time of our life and even our 18 month old (for which Suzie brought a babyseat)had a ton of fun and was integrated in the whole tour.
Would book this tour again.

First time to Dominican Republic
This was our first time visiting this beautiful country and Alex, our tour guide, was so helpful and knowledgeable! He showed us so many interesting things and really made us feel comfortable and welcome.
The trip itself was fantastic! We really got a feel for the true culture and bought some souvenirs to remember! The views at lunch time were incredible and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour!

Absolutely amaxing
This was the best trip I've ever been on from the guides the atmosphere to the amazing things we seen. Visiting locals within thier home surroundings and getting a real insight into how the real Dominican people live, visiting a local school (opening my son's eyes as to how lucky and privaliged he is) floating around in a lovelier natural river. The guides Eddie and Vladimir were hilarious and really informative giving us loads of info on all kinds of things on the trip. A truly magical heart warming/breaking day that we will never forget.

Best way to see the Dominican Republic!
Wow what a day! We (the four of us) went on this day tour today and thought it was brilliant! Our guide Susi was simply the best! Despite not speaking English as her first language, her English was brilliant. She answered all the questions we had, was very informative and really looked after us. The tour itself was jam packed with tasting sessions from rum to coconut, wine to cigars as well as an insite into Dominican life and culture! Well worth the money! We travelled in comfort and was even offered refreshements throughout the day (it was little touches like this that made the trip even better). We started with a champagne cocktail on the beach which was great! Anyone wanting to see the real Dominican Republic (away from the hotels!) defo book this trip! If you are English speaking we can highly recommend Susi, she will certainly take care of you and is a real credit to the company.

Susi is the most amazing guide ever!
We took the trip with my parents and our 5 year old daughter. They loved it! Susi told us everything about the island, culture, animals, plants etc. She did such an amazing job. My daughter absolutely loved her! She was so gentle with her. If you have small kids, try to book her. W
e got an hour of rain, but it made the trip even greater.
We got fried chicken for lunch and it was delicious. Don't hesitate to try the coffees and mamajuana, you won't taste something more delicous. You can even try some local sigars or fresh coco loco!

Best trip ever
Alex is the best tour guide you could ask for. He was so attentive to our family. We had my parents with us who took a little extra time and tender care. He never made us feel rushed and always made sure they were cared for. We laughed and had such a great time he feels like family. He's got experience and knows his stuff. Everyone around loves him. What a day!!! Please book and see the traditional Punta Cana
We are a family of 3 visiting Punta Cana, with a 12 year old daughter.
We have just returned from a full day trip with guide Angel and driver Papi.
This was an extremely good trip which I would fully recommend.
The tour is sobering when you see how fortinate we are having education and public services such as electricity and water on tap.
The visit to the local home, cocount farm and rivet are really informative and enjoyable espacially and any purchases made go directly back to the community.
We had an excellent time and it opened up a really good converation about how privelidged we actually are.
Our tour guides were first class.
Worthe every penny!!!!

could have been better
Went on a full day Outback and Beyond Safari,it was nice to get out of the hotel and see the local region,and some of the stops were interesting and the guide was informative and knowledgeable,the swimming in the river i thought was a let down as it is just a bit of a pond fed by a stream,whereas I believed we would be lazily drifting down the river on inflatables,biggest drawback for me was the constant pressure by the guide to spend money,right from the start the merchandise came out,hats,t-shirts,bags and so on,if you didnt want to buy then we were asked to consider a donation,every stop on the tour led you to a local buisness where you wre expected to buy whatever they were producing (coconut oil,coffee,cigars,paintings etc),then at the end of the trip it was sugested by our guide that $20 was a good tip if we enjoyed the day! kind of left a bad taste,but its one of the only trips to get out and see how the locals live

Baldomar is the man!!
What an excellent excursion. Our tour guide Baldomar was so welcoming and well knowledged. I learnt so much on this tour and felt safe with him at all times. You get to see so much and its a real eye opener to see how poor people can live, definitely makes you appreciate your life a whole lot more. Definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent day trip
Had a brilliant day with Eddy and Leo learning about the Dominican Republic. So often we come to foreign countries and know nothing of their ways. This trip works with local communities to give them opportunities to work and showed us how you make coconut oil/coffee/chocolate/cigars. We should have visited a local school but they were closed for summer holidays but we still had the opportunity to buy some merchandise to help fund children attending school/buying uniform.

AMAZINGGGG TRIP
Eddy and Leo were awesome!! We got to see how they make coconut oil which was really cool, then we got the try coco beans, sugar canes, coffee and hot chcolate. The whole day was pretty cool as we got to ride through the mountains and see the real Dominican. You learn so much on the trip while it is also really fun. The views are so beautiful everywhere you go and the lazy river at the end tops it of. Would recommend it 10000%
