Description

Any trip to St Maarten would not be complete without a day trip to the gorgeous and unspoiled island of sun and sand, Anguilla, and her unparalleled sister, Prickly Pear. Come and sail on Lambada, spend the day relaxing, partying, swimming, snorkeling and making vacation memories in this hidden tropical paradise.

Our friendly crew will welcome you at our marina in Simpson Bay, where you will board a 63 foot (19 meter) catamaran called Lambada. Find your favorite spot on the deck and relax as we sail toward Anguilla. Soak up the sun with a rum punch in your hand or enjoy the cool breeze in the shade.

As we sail around Anguilla, we will discover the nearby island of Prickly Pear. Its gorgeous white sand beaches and vivid turquoise water will astonish you and you will feel keen to dive into the sea as soon as we arrive. Grab the provided snorkeling gear and discover the beautiful underwater world and abundant corals or enjoy an other drink under a palm tree.

We will sail back to mainland Anguilla to experience an other beach. We will serve you a traditional Caribbean barbecue chicken, ribs or fish lunch at a beach restaurant. You will still have plenty of time afterwards to enjoy the beach or the warm, shallow water before we head back to St. Maarten.

Lambada is a great choice for families with children, couples and party groups. There is a dinghy that transports people to the beach if you do not swim or prefer to be transported with your bag. Climbing in and out of dinghies should be possible for you if you wish to enjoy this trip. We advise you to bring extra cash along for additional drinks at the restaurant.

    Last Tango in Paradise
Took the trip to Prickly Pear and Anquilla on the Tango, what a blast. We love catamaran trips and this is the best we have ever been on. Great snorkeling at Prickly Pear and the ribs at the beach bar were fantastic. The onboard staff were brilliant, so attentive and great fun.

    Not quite as advertised
The tour had some okay elements. The water was quite rough and we ended up spending most of the day on the catamaran as opposed to stopping at the beautiful beaches that are part of the description of the tour. The snorkelling was about one hour, but in rough waters. The BBQ lunch was good, but the beach where the lunch was ended up being small with debris and weeds along the shoreline. In total I think we off the boat for just over an hour for lunch and there were no other beach stops. Understanding the weather and rough seas are uncontrollable, the excessive time on the boat made for a long uneventful day. The crew were very friendly and competent. The fresh food and drinks onboard were also good.

    Fun relaxing day.
When they say they depart at 8:30 it is Island time for 9am. The crew was fantastic and extremely courteous. Drinks are plentiful and the rum punch was great.

The snorkeling was difficult due to wave conditions and reef is still recovering from the last two hurricanes. Lots of pretty reef fish.

Beach at Anguilla is beautiful with crystal clear water and powdery white sand. You are offered three choices for lunch chicken, fish and ribs. Our choice was fish and it was overcooked.

Great scenery, lots of sun with shade options and boat was not overly crowded even with 60 people on board. Music was fun and gave a true Island Vibe to the day.

    Thanks,

We make this cruise during our holiday in St Maarten. We choose that cruise basically for snorkling in the reef and enjoy a good lunch on the beach and it was perfect. The staff was really nice and kind. It was very windy and lot of waves in the sea. Also in the reef area on Peaky Pearl Island the sea was not so flat but the reef is very good with a lot of fishes and there is a beat tender for support.
My only suggestion, if you have kids maybe this is not the right activity, open bar and big waves while snorkeling are not for kids. Enjoy.

Highlight of our two weeks spent in Sint Maarten. Family of 4, children aged 15 and 13. Professional and safety conscious, this crew was fun, outgoing, multilingual and hardworking. The Lambada was a very large catamaran that had lots of room for our 55 guests, plus 4 crew. We travelled under sail and motor on the outbound trip and mostly sailed on our return by an experienced captain. First stop, Prickly Pear for snorkeling off the boat, the water was crystal clear and lots of colourful fish to see. Second stop, Road Bay Anguilla for a delicious lunch that was well organized and eaten on picnic tables with our toes is the sand with protection overhead from the sun. The beach was BEAUTIFUL. An open bar all day, wonderful music, great guests and fantastic crew this is a 5 star day trip. Wear your swim suit, pack sun screen and bring your sense of adventure.

Amazing trip! The captain and crew were great and super attentive. They made sure all guests on board were well taken care of- always asking if anyone wanted a drink or water. The water was a bit choppy the day I went. but clear and blue so snorkeling was a lot of fun. I went w/ my mom and the guys were patient w/ her as this was her first time snorkeling. I would definitely do this again next year. Thumbs up to the team for excellent customer service!

If you’re looking for a good time with STELLAR people—you will want to book this trip! The crew is absolutely fantastic and will get you into party cruise mode as you take in sights of Sint Maarten’s coastline on your way to Anguilla. The rum punch in board is super tasty, and the playlist has everyone from different ages and regions dancing. It is a nice way to get a taste of Anguilla, but as the itinerary states the majority of your time will be spent on the catamaran so if you are prone to motion-sickness or sea-sickness please take precautions. The waves can really rock the boat! Thanks, Aqua Mania, for a great time!

This is just pure fun. A day on a catamaran with food, drinks, music and fun was the perfect way to finish our week on Sint Maarten.

The boat leaves from Simpson Bay, motors north to Prickly Pear (5 miles from the middle of nowhere) and then Anguilla. You get back before 5:00 pm, just in time to sober up for dinner.

Snacks aboard the boat, a nonstop open bar, snorkeling, lunch on Prickly Pear at Johnno's, swimming on the beach at Anguilla and an amazing crew. This was, all in all, a perfect day with the family.

Capt. and Crew were simply The Best! Attentive to your every need even if you get seasick. Prickly Pear is the first stop so if you are prone to seasickness take all necessary precautions. PRIOR TO checking in know or secure the name of your vessel. I booked online. While process was easy, no vessel name provided so it was confusing at check-in because two vessels were headed to Anguilla that day. Lunch was totally not what we expected. You had a choice of chicken, vegan, ribs or fish. You are given cole slaw, a green salad, potatoes and rice along with your meat/vegan selection all served by the crew. The ride back the sails went up and we participated in dancing with the crew. Open Bar but people on this trip were mindful of the quantity they were drinking so everyone had a grand time. 2 bathrooms on board. Highly recommend this trip on the Lombada.

We really enjoyed the sailing trip! You were able to sit, stand, etc., on various part of the boat throughout the trip to see the sites, enjoy the sun, or just feel the wind, and that was nice. Additionally, the crew was very safety-conscious and helpful in getting everyone set up for snorkeling. The short stay on Anguilla was relaxing, and you were able to swim, sunbathe, etc... The only thing that could have been improved was the lunch. It was not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination, but it was edible. Just know that this is an all day trip, and that there may be waves that day 3 1/2 feet our day we were told that they cancel when they get over 6 feet. So, if you get seasick, I'd take something. Otherwise, it's a trip worth taking!
