Description

This tour is also available at other departure times. The morning pirate sail is 4 hours long and includes lunch. The afternoon pirate sail is 3 hours long and comes without lunch.

Step aboard our pirate schooner and enjoy miles of ever-changing scenery all along the beautiful coast of Aruba. Witness what a little magic can do as the gentle trade winds snap the sails to life aboard the 85 feet (26 meters) schooner inviting you to a front row seat to the island's greatest light show.

You won't want to miss the excitement as the spectacle of the bright neon sun dips slowly under the skyline to kiss the turquoise Caribbean Sea.

In a quiet cove, you can toast the sunset with unlimited beverages from the ship's open bar and perhaps choose to stretch out on the netting of the bowsprit and feel a little salt spray. Use the on board rope swing to jump into the sea as the sun sets over the horizon.

Photographers will capture the transition from day towards night as the glow of the reflection between sunlight and the sea bounce off the schooner in an extraordinary combination of beauty and grace. Enjoy the thrill of the sail while you sit back and relax on the teak decks with unlimited cocktails from the open bar.

Enjoy the sail back towards the high rise hotels following the twinkling lights along the shoreline of Aruba. A sunset sail in Aruba, is something you won't soon forget.

We enjoyed the sunset cruise to see the Aruba coastline from a different perspective. The drinks were free flowing and the younger passengers had fun jumping from the rope swing into the water at an anchored spot while waiting for the sun to set on the return to the pier by the Marriottt Surf Club. Relaxing and breezy sail (really they use a motor).

The Sunset Cruise is a must-do when in Aruba. My husband and I took the cruise with our 2 girls, ages 14 & 9, and it was one of the highlights of our 2-week trip. We even planned on doing it again but ran out of time since there’s so much to do on this little island!

Know that if you pay online you still need to get your boarding passes from the Jolly Pirate building, at the beach where you take off from. Also bring money to tip your bartender and they will take great care of you. We tipped a $20 at the beginning and the bartender kept bringing us drinks when we ran out (as opposed to everyone else who has to go up & possibly wait in a short line to get their drinks). Even our girls LOVED the virgin punch made for them. The crew is so much fun and makes sure that everyone has a good time. There’s music throughout the cruise and by the end of the cruise most participants are drunk and dancing. There were a few other teenagers and one smaller child around age 7 on our cruise, and everyone on the whole ship had a great time.

You board, cruise for a bit, then stop near Boca Catalina beach, where the water is 14 feet deep, so that everyone who wishes to can take turns swinging off of the ship and into the water from the rope. They have life vests for those who aren’t great swimmers. Then you get back on the ship via ladder. It’s so much fun! Everyone was cheering for all of the people jumping, and all ages had a great time. After about half an hour of that, you cruise back to the dock while the sun is setting. It’s relaxing, beautiful, and so much fun. I recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Aruba. Great for most ages (I wouldn’t bring an infant of toddler) & the pricing is great. It was my 14-year old’s favorite activity of our trip, and we did A LOT in 15 days. The cruise is a great memory that our family will cherish forever.

Excellent sunset cruise. Great service! The rope swing halfway through the cruise is very cool. The drinks at the open bar were a little weak but since there is no limit on them I can’t really complain. Highly recommend this trip.

Good time on the sunset cruise. Huge bachelorette party that held boat up boarding as the took picture on the beach then on the dock and they were very loud and annoying on the ship but it’s not the fault of the Jolly Pirate. The staff was great at making sure we all had drinks since it was hard to move around the boat. I would do this sunset cruise again

We had a great time on this cruise. It was about 2 hours and the sunset was very picturesque. They started out taking us to an area where you could choose to use the rope swing jump from the ship into he waters. They explained how to do it safely and it was entertaining to watch. Eventually one of the Jolly Pirates gave piggy back rides to willing participants so they could experience a flip into the water. Drinks and music where provided while you sailed. The crew did a Great job !!!

We go to Aruba frequently and always make the Jolly Pirates part of our trip. This time, we did the Sunset cruise. The crew never disappoints! Very fun and entertaining! Drank some Pirates Poison and viewed the beautiful sunset while watching adventurous passengers swing off the rope swing.

We did the Sunset Cruise on a whim with 2 other couples. It was a blast and definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a good time. Bring your bathing suit if you want to swing into the water!
