Enjoy a complimentary pick-up at your hotel or cruise ship terminal between 9:30-10:00 am. Our friendly crew will welcome you on board as we depart for this 4-hour highlights sightseeing bus tour of Curacao.

We will first drive on the Otrobanda side of Willemstad while our professional guide gives you lots of information on the history of Curacao. We will pass by beautiful monuments and UNESCO world heritage sights.

The tour will lead you across the Queen Juliana Bridge to the other side of the city, giving you a breathtaking view of Willemstad. Your guide will escort you through the colorful houses of the Punda side of town, and we will pass through the historical Old Jewish neighborhood.

Our next stop will be at the Curacao Liquor distillery where we will stay for approximately 25 minutes. Walk around and see how the Original ‘Blue Curacao’ is made and taste the different flavors for free. Try yourself the special gel that locals have been using to cool themselves.

After the distillery we drive through the Spanish Water Bay, a beautiful residential area, on our way to our final beach stop. We will spend the last one or two hours at the Curacao Mambo Beach and Boulevard, where you can swim, snorkel, just relax on the beach or do some shopping on the Mambo Boulevard.

At the end of your Curacao highlight island tour, the bus will bring you back to town while swinging on nice Caribbean music.

We took the Irie East Side tour when we had a stop on Curacao in January 2019. We booked it as a group, privately, rather than doing the ship's tour. The meeting spot was easy to find as it was well marked on the pier, and we had directions in advance by email. We left promptly at the assigned time. Miguel was our guide, and he had lots to share about the island life. His humour kept the bus a rockin' and he was professional at all times. Lots of water and beer on the bus to keep us quenched. The tour itself was informative and beautiful. We enjoyed (again) the stop at Chobolobo, but one of these times, we need to stop when it is not on a weekend! The stop at the beach was a great time with change rooms and washrooms available along chairs. We would definitely take this tour again! Well worth the money spent!

We did the East side tour while in Curaçao on a cruise. There was five of us with ages ranging from 14 to 69 and we all loved it. They provide tons of knowledge about the island, safe, open air transportation and drinks (beer, water). Not a beer drinker but did try the Dutch Lager and it was actually pretty good. This tour has me wanting to go back to Curaçao to explore the island further. Will definitely do the West side tour if I make it back!!

During cruise ship stop we took the East Side Tour and Bob was our guide. This was one of the best tours we have ever taken with such an economical price. We boarded the bus right there at the port, the rep was waiting for us and had our name from sending advance reservation. After boarding, we got a cold beer (also had water & soft drinks) from the cooler and enjoyed the first segment with informative drive through part of town. Bob was awesome and taught us a lot, but in a very positive way, great tour tempo. We stopped at the Blue Curacao distillery for about 20 min, was perfect, got to learn about it, taste the product, buy a bottle and use the restroom. Then tour another portion of town and an incredible stop for pictures looking out over the harbor, very cool. We drove down to Mambo Beach and enjoyed for a couple of hours before boarding the bus for the drive back. We got off near the pontoon bridge, so glad we did, just an incredible experience. DO this tour, one of the best, never even asked for a tip, which of course we all gave because Bob did such a good job!

We had a great trip with Miguel. He made it fun, authentic and informative. The beach at the end was busy but great for a couple of hours. If you are looking for a quick 4 hour tour book this one with Irie tours. Top tip - sit near the back as that is where the beer cooler is

We did the East side tour- our driver was very informative and made the trip fun. We stopped at the distillery and then they dropped us off at the beach for an hour. They were on time picking us up and then dropped us off close to the cruise port shopping. I would recommend booking a tour with this company. Our next trip we will book another tour with them to see more of the city.

The tour was conducted in an open air colorful converted school bus which was very comfortable and roomy. This is a very beautiful island and Bob was obviously very proud of his home. We stopped several times for photo ops, and once at the "Genuine Curacao Liquor" factory and took a short tour there.
Bob took us through several residential areas to show us some of the very expensive homes on the island. He also showed us many UNESCO World heritage sites and explained how they are refurbished.
We returned to the port in about 3 hours. I would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Curacao and wish to see the beauty of this island with an experienced guide. We paid via credit card and this tour was only $25 each which included water, soda and beer if you wanted one.

This was our second time in beautiful Curacao but our friends had never been here so we decided on Irie’s East Side Tour. The colorful open aired buses are fun and the entire staff was friendly and professional. Kurt, our tour guide, was very passionate about his country and provided lots of great information along the way. He narrated both in English and Spanish so everyone could appreciate the sights we passed. The fee is nominal and beer and water are included free of charge. After about two plus hours of sightseeing there is an optional drop off at Mambo Beach. We decided to return to port but had we wanted beach time the beach admission fee was included in the tour and we would have been given two hours before the bus returned.

This is a very good choice for cruise passengers visiting Curacao. It would not be too exciting for young children because it is a good two hours on the bus before the beach stop. The only other real stopping point was about a 20 minute pause at the Blue Curacao distillery. That would be your only real bathroom opportunity as well.

We enjoyed our tour with Irie and the friendly, professional staff. As with any tour that includes free beer, some patrons might overindulge and become a little loud so do expect some out of tune singing along the way.

This tour is perfect for seeing the highlights of Willemstad in a few hours. The comfortable school bus had open air windows, perfect for photos, and they supplied complimentary ice cold drinks. Our guide and driver, Kurt, was very knowledgeable about the history of the town, and showed us many historic and beautifully decorated buildings as well as some of the local flora and fauna.
The stop at the Curacao distillery was interesting, with museum type displays about the production of the liqueur from local bitter oranges. We got to taste several flavours of curacao while there, my only complaint is that more time would be appreciated to see the displays, especially if there are several tour groups going through. After a stop at a viewpoint overlooking the town, about half the bus was dropped off at Mambo beach, ( admission included) the other half could choose to get dropped in town or at port. Mambo beach was a wonderful way to spend 90 minutes, it had public washrooms for changing into and out of beach wear, and it’s crystal clear waters were protected by a breakwater for swimming. For $3.50 USD you could get a drink and a shaded lounge chair ( pink chairs most reasonable). Many other restaurants offered loungers for similar purchases.

We took the East Side tour with Irie Tours in Curacao. Our guide Bob met us right at the dock. The bus was an old school bus, and I was a bit concerned about the lack of A/C, but with the windows all removed, a nice breeze blew through the bus, and we were very comfortable. There was a good supply of water, beer, and pop in a cooler on board, and we were encouraged to drink as much as we wanted. Bob even stopped partway through the tour to replenish the supply of drinks. We enjoyed the Blue Curacao distillery, especially the samples. Bob was very knowledgeable of the history of the area and explained the architecture in detail. Our final stop was at the beach, where we had time to do a little shopping. We are not beach people. He gave everyone the option of staying either one hour or two at the beach. We stayed only one hour, and he brought us back to the dock area where we had time to walk around and shop a little more before returning to our ship. Overall a very good deal for 25 bucks.

We came in on a cruise ship and were easily able to find them. We had previously reserved a spot on the East Side Tour online. The tour guide was a informative, friendly and a great driver. We were able to get a good feeling of the island. We will definitely book the western side tour next time we are on the island.

We did the East Side Tour with Irie Tours a couple of weeks ago. Our tour was about 4 hours long on a open air bus. Our guide was Ariel and he was very knowledgeable about the island. We went over the Queen Juliana bridge, visited the Blue Curacao rum factory, saw some of the very nice neighborhoods and a few other lookout spots before going to Mambo Beach for a couple of hours. It was a great tour that I'd highly recommend doing, whether it be a land vacation or visiting while on a cruise.

We were on a cruise and decided to do the East side tour. We were not disappointed! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a great deal about the island. We went through the Jewish neighborhood and also through the neighborhood with the most expensive homes on the island. Just SO much history included in this tour! We stopped at the Curacao Distillery and sampled some of the different flavors of liqueurs. The beach stop was short (about an hour) but plenty of time to get in the water and cool off, or swim out to the platform and jump off! We also stopped at a look-off point (over a bay) for some great photos! There was unlimited beer, water, coke and sprite available on the bus and they kept the cooler full for us! For the money, this is probably one of the best excursions that we have ever done, out of 12 cruises! We really enjoyed ourselves!

We took the family of 5 on the East Side Tour with Bob at the wheel in the school bus converted into tour bus. All windows have been removed to allow for good air flow, since no AC on the bus. Didn't need it. Seats pitch in school bus like plane seat pitch - tight for any tall people! The complimentary drinks were appreciated for the warm day!

Great commentary about the area by Bob was appreciated with stop at the Curacao liquors and Mambo beach area. Beach is a bit confusing at first as the tour covers the beach admission and then rest is a la cart for chairs etc from different vendors. 2 hour visit was enough time. Water was clear & clean and lots of fish for kids to see.

Well worth the value for the low price they charge - would use them again next visit to the Island.

We really enjoyed our tour and found it to be quite extensive and comfortable. The guide was very informative and the bus was stocked with plenty of beverages. We toured the Curaçao distillery with tastings included then saw the beautiful east side before going to Mambo Beach. There we had a choice of staying 1-2 hours. We opted for 2, bought lunch, shopped and enjoyed the beautiful beach. What a great day!

The tour staff at the port were helpful and our bus driver/tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The open bus was interesting - remember your sunscreen in case you sit by the window. The city tour gave a nice overview as did the guides commentary. The beach itself was somewhat crowded, but a nice area to hang out for a couple of hours.

We booked the East Side Tour from the UK, having read the reviews. We met our tour from our cruise ship. Bob was our driver, he was very in formative and amusing there was nothing too much trouble for him. There was plenty of drinks carried on board, both alcohol and soft. We would defiantly recommend this tour.
