Your half-day coffee and cocoa plantation experience from Punta Cana starts with a pick up at your hotel between 8:00 and 9:00 am. Exact pick up time will be advised after reservation.

Would you like to taste organic Cocoa directly from the tree? Now is your opportunity. We will visit a small countryside chocolate finca where you’ll have the opportunity to meet the family, walk through a beautiful chocolate plantation and see, smell and taste how coffee and chocolate are produced from the tree to the cup.
Next stop is at Outback’s Exclusive Iguana Ranch nestled in the hills of the Oriental Mountain Range with breathtaking views of the whole region. Named Iguanas for being a habitat to the rhinoceros iguana (Cyclura cornuta) a threatened species that is primarily found on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola. Their name derives from the bony-plated pseudo-horn or outgrowth which resembles the horn of a rhinoceros on the iguana’s snout. Learn more about these incredible creatures, their reproduction, feeding habits, gender and more, you will be surprised to see how friendly they are.
Afterwads allow local artisans to captivate you with their talents, observe artisanal hand cigar rolling, rock carving local painting and much more. Shop at a local Rum shack with local products like Rum, Cigars, Coffee & lots more – All at the local Punta Cana prices!
At the end of the excursion, we will return you to your hotel by 1:30 pm.

Only disappointed by not having advanced notice that we could buy local crafts and goods from these farmers Before the actual trip.
We had bought most goods at the hotel owned mini-mall.
