Your half-day off road buggy adventure from Punta Cana starts with a complimentary pick up at your hotel or resort between 7:00 and 8:00 am. Exact pick up time will be advised after reservation. You will be shuttled by air-conditioned mini van to the Anamuya mountains where the buggy excursion departs.


Upon arrival to our base, your local guide will give you a safety and operational briefing on how to operate the vehicles before starting the UTV tour. You will follow your guide through scenic mountain roads, valleys and past farms and small villages. You will be amazed to see the beautiful nature of the island but be ready to get dirty along the way.


We will stop at the Anamuya river where you can refresh yourself and wash off the dirt or just simply relax on the shore and chat with your guide.


The guided UTV excursion will continue through the mountains until we reach a local family's home. They will invite you to their farm and their coffee plantation. You will get to taste exotic fruits and real cocoa.


At the end of the Bavaro off road buggy tour, you will be returned to your hotel by 12:30 pm.

    I wanted to write this review for multiple reasons. First reason because it was fun, entertaining, educational day. Second because guides who worked with us that day were professional, knowledgeable, and made sure we were safe the whole time. I can’t say enough good things about this trip. 5 stars from beginning till end.

    This trip was a freaking blast! As someone who owns and drives performance exotics, I initially shrugged off a friend's suggestion to schedule a day for this outing, thinking it was the last thing I wanted to do when escaping Wisconsin's frigid climate for a weeks vacation in the Caribbean. For reasons I don't recall, though, we ended up scheduling this trip anyway, and I am glad we did. There was a torrential downpour for about 45 minutes just prior to our outing, so we had the opportunity to tear through feet of mud and even more feet of water with these well maintained side-by-side vehicles. The outing included a quaint interlude mid-trip into a scenic lagoon, where we took some excellent pictures. Our group was also followed by a photographer who took some excellent action shots that we ended up purchasing.

    I would HIGHLY recommend bringing a garbage bag for any backpacks or purses you may bring with you. I grabbed my gym backpack as a bring-along for the day, and it was comprehensively saturated with mud after our trip. Also, if you have a go-pro, bring it along! We got some awesome first-person footage of the SPLASH! to accompany the photographer's photos.

    I'd also like to make a point to mention our guide, PJ. PJ brought with him an absolutely wonderful energy and personality, showing us how coffee and coco is grown prior to our outing, and taking excellent care of us through the trip. He's an excellent guide and even better person, without whom this excursion wouldn't have been anything near what it was. Thank you PJ!

    Had an amazing time on the buggies tour with YOUNG BOY . He was an amazing host and entertainer. One of the best individual I've met on this trip in Punta Cana! Highly recommend runners adventures!
