Description
This tour is available in different packages:
Start the full-day off road buggy excursion from Bavaro with a complimentary pick up at your hotel or resort in Punta Cana, Bavaro, Uvero Alto or Cap Cana between 7:00 and 8:00 am. Exact pick up time will be advised after reservation. You will be shuttled by air-conditioned mini van to the Anamuya mountains where the guided off road buggy tour departs.
Upon arrival to our base, your local guide will give you a safety and operational briefing on how to operate the vehicles before starting the UTV tour. You will follow your guide through scenic mountain roads, valleys and past farms and small villages. You will be amazed to see the beautiful nature of the island but be ready to get dirty during the buggy ride.
We will stop at the Anamuya river where you can refresh yourself and wash off the dirt or just simply relax on the shore and chat with your guide.
The second part of this Punta Cana excursion includes a ride on the longest zipline in the Dominican Republic. The zipline was constructed by one of the most experienced ziplines circuit builder in Costa Rica and certified by ACCT (Association for Challenge Courses Technology).
The tour consists of 12 lines spread between 18 platforms. You will need 60-90 minutes to complete the course but don’t worry, the first cables aren’t very long or fast to build your confidence. When you get to the cable 6, you can reach a speed of 55 km per hour. Cable number 9 is our highest one and cable 11 is the only side by side cable in the country with 800 meters.
We will take a tour to Monkeyland where you will interact in close proximity with our beautiful and friendly squirrel monkeys. This sanctuary was created by a Canadian couple with more than 35 years of experience working with animals, including 12 years at the Toronto Zoo teaching monkeys to trust and enjoy the company of humans.
After the zipline tour, we will visit a local family's home. They will invite you to their farm and their coffee plantation where you will get to taste exotic fruits and real cocoa. You will also be served a delicious Dominican buffet lunch. We will visit the Coconut House well you will see how the purest coconut oil is made.
At the end of the Bavaro off road buggy tour, you will be returned to your hotel by 3:30 pm.

We enjoy every moment of the excursion!! Sammy ( son of Sammy Davis jr. According to him) lol was fantastic!! Not only he educated us about the Dominican culture , he did it in a way that was fun ! Exceeded Expectations!
Monkeyland far surpassed my expectations. We had a beautiful ride up to the mountains, with the driver pointing out local fruit like avocado and cocoa, and upon arrival were able to have an authentic tour of how resources like coconut milk and coffee beans are harvested.Reviewed by Rio A on January 09, 2020
It was a great introduction to Dominican culture and the surrounding environment, and the guides spoke as many as two or three languages as needed. Monkey land blew me away with a large amount of time spent with the monkeys, who genuinely enjoyed people and came right up to us. They were friendly and well trained, and we even got to see some baby monkeys!
Overall, I would do this trip again and it was well worth the price. 10/10

We then went on a tour showing us how the locals live and the process of coffee and cocoa being made. Rico was such a great and friendly guide. We were given an amazing lunch as well. We proceeded on to the jungle buggies where Wobin(young boy) took us on an amazing tour through the Mountains. He made it so fun and and was a blessing to us all. Our driver Nelson transported us all safely and in a timely manner as well. We were overly impressed with the guides and how fun they made everything. They were all so friendly.
Very Organized Adventures!
We enjoyed the Buggies and Zip lines. Started with Buggies. Very nice Honda equipment. All the safety gear you need. Trails were long and muddy. We has a blast. Photographer travels with you in separate buggy and gets your buggy blowing through mud and water. Sunglasses and bandanna a must. You can putter through the mud and water as not to get wet, buy WHY. They pronounce the Buggy as "Boogie". Well worth it. 1,2,3,or four to the Buggy. Great for families. Zip lines are very organized and run safely. You don't stand in line to get geared up, they have 7 or 8 guys that quickly get you harnessed up. Then quick briefing. I think they had 10 or 11 lines, with places to get off for the faint of heart. Each station had a quick turn around. Not many lines. Most lines were hands (special gloves), on. 2 or three were hands free. Perfect for videos. Can not put videos on here.

A MUST DO!!! Most Unique Experience of my LIFE!
I just got back last week from our girl’s trip vacation in Punta Cana and we booked these excursions. I never in my life had SOOOO Much FUN! The experience was like nothing I’ve ever tried. First, the zip lines were super cool! There’s 12 levels of the zip lines and they were all amazing as each level has a new beautiful scene. You’re essentially in a beautiful jungle and the views are eye candy. The staff is extremely professional and made the whole experience fun and very secure. I was nervous at first but then went for it! Monkey land was also something I’ve never done before! WOW how the little monkeys just play with you and feel so soft and gentle as they do! TOO CUTE! The food we had on the excursion was delectable, authentic Dominican Food—we had to go for seconds! Lastly the buggies was also equally my favorite, we got so dirty in the mud and it was perfect cause it rained earlier that day ha-ha! This whole experience is SOOO worth the money!!! I also feel it is my duty to inform others of any potential dangers in the Dominican Republic. There is none. I do not think that there ever was. Even back at the resorts and surrounding areas. Everything is paradise and the people are beyond kind and fun! I travel here frequently. Visit and really take in the Republica Dominicana!

Our pick up was about 45 minutes later than we were told, but that was really the only minor issue we had. It didn't bother us and everything was fun after that. Our guide Hamlet was friendly and entertaining, and made sure everyone was where they needed to be the entire day.
Ziplining was first. They did a good job letting everyone know what to do and making sure everyone was safe. The views on the course were amazing!
Afterwards we had lunch. The food was authentic Dominican and very good.
Monkeyland was next. The monkeys are adorable and it's very clear that their health and safety is the top priority.
Buggies were last. We were pleasantly surprised by this part of the day. The equipment was really nice, trails were fun and muddy. We made 2 stops- one to swim in the river and the other to see demonstrations about coffee, chocolate, coconut oil, and Mama Juana. PJ was our guide on the buggy ride and did the demonstrations. He was great!
Overall I would really recommend this tour!!
