Description
Join us on a half day journey to Monkey Jungle at our beautiful ranch and enjoy our 12-line zip line platform and friendly squirrel monkeys. Monkey Jungle Zip Line is the only one with ACCT certification in the North-Coast built by Canadian and US companies.
Your tour starts with a pick up at your hotel and you will be escorted to our ranch. We will give you a safety briefing and gear you up before heading over to the first platform hiking trough beautiful nature. The tour is 6500 feet (2000 meters) in total divided between 12 lines and 2 suspension bridges. This adventure includes the 2 longest ziplines in the Dominican Republic one of them being over 2600 feet (800 meters) long.
During the second part of the tour, we will visit the Coconut house where you will be introduced to the process of coconut oil making. You will learn about the way of living in the Dominican countryside and taste the most delicious locally produced coffee, coconut and exotic fruits. You will also get to purchase souvenirs at unbeatable prices.
You will enter Monkey Land, a beautiful 5-acre land that monkeys have made their home. Follow you guide around this beautiful park and he will introduce you to the friendly locals. You will have close contact with the squirrel monkeys who trust and enjoy the company of humans. They will eat from your hand, sit on your shoulder and pose for photos.
Later on, we will invite you to our ranch, where you will not only have the best views of the mountains but you will enjoy a tasty traditional Dominican lunch.
After the zipline tour and Monkey Land visit, chat with your guide and mingle with fellow travelers while we take you back to your hotel.

Fantastic experience
A wonderful experience for our family of 4. They picked us and dropped us off at our resort in Ulvero Alto. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Get a helmet with a GoPro to capture your zip lining experience. We loved having those images. Monkeyland exceeded my expectations. Great experience feeding the little guys. Amazing excursion with great guides
The zip line guides were knowledgeable and helpful during the experience. I am 5'2" and they helped boost me up and off the lines and were very funny and nice too. It's a bit more walking than you think, and we were definitely all sweating in the humidity. The lunch was amazing! I wished our hotel had more of that authentic Dominican food, it really added to the experience. The monkeys were so cute and the guides made it very fun laughing with and at us :) No one pressures you to buy any photos and you can take as many as you'd like. Excellent tour! *pregnancy review*
We went on this tour during our travels on our honeymoon. I was 20 weeks pregnant (5months). There is a reason why they say *no pregnant women allowed on the zipline.* They secure the harnesses tight around your body to keep you safe and secure. Prior to getting me strapped in the tour guide asked my husband (secretly) if I was pregnant. Because I really wanted to do something fun and not miss out on a zipline experience, my husband told the tour guide that we're just fat. I "passed" as fat. Had I been further along ( even if I didn't show) , I wouldn't have been able to ride due to belly pain and worry if my baby was okay. Overall the ziplining, monkey zoo and coffee plant were a really fun tour and I would definitely recommend it! But if your past 20 weeks pregnant, don't sign up cause you won't be able to ride the zipline. This was a fantastic experience! I really enjoyed the monkeys feeding them and them crawling all over you was an interesting experience. The tour of the life of Dominican people and lunch was great. Great place
Great place to visit. Great experience. Note that you cannot put on sunscreen or misquote repellent or anything else once you are there because it kills the monkeys. If you want to put something on, do it before you leave the hotel. Also, if you are sick such as flu or something else, you are not allowed to see the monkeys as it kills the entire colony within a week. Awesome monkey photos
This excursion was a great deal. The driver Moises Matos and the tour guide Denisse Munoz were excellent. The zipline was tons of fun. The staff weren't the friendliest and kept calling me "lady" which I didn't like but I know it wasn't meant in a bad way. I wish they smiled a bit more and were able to give me instructions in English. Monkeyland was a lot of fun! They let you take pictures with your own camera and I got lots of fun shots.
Excellent Experience and A Lot Of Fun
This excursion really surprised us. We had heard great things about doing the ziplines, but weren't too sure about the Monkeyland experience. We decided to do both and it was a really fun excursion. Our guide, Luis (AKA Barrack Obama), and our driver Bryan, were extremely helpful, funny, and informative. A surprising thing from this tour was that almost every single person we encountered spoke more than 3 languages. Everyone spoke English and Spanish, but many were fluent in many languages such as Russian and French. The Monkeyland experience is a lot of fun and definitely something kids will love (as adults we loved it). Zip Lines & Monkey Land - Great Day Out!
We did this great day out while on holiday in Punta Cana with Runners Adventures (booked through the hotel). We were picked up bang on time at our hotel reception, met by our guide for the day Dario, who was absolutely superb. Besides being very knowledgeable about the history of the island which he have us a great overview of on the way to the ziplines, we discovered that Dario also speaks 5 languages fluently and was very patient and informative throughout the day. We did the zip lines first which were great fun and highly recommended, not challenging at all if you don't mind climbing a few stairs. Afetr the zip lines, we walked across the road to be shown round a typical 'Dominican' house, where they grow Coffee & Cocoa and were given a display on how they are roasted and ground, then made into various products, with a chance to taste them as well. There were many products that they produce themselves (organically of course) that were available to buy if you wanted to but there was no pressure to buy at all. Very interesting addition to the day. We then had some lunch, being greeted on arrival with traditional music being played by the locals. The food was surprisingly good with a varied selection of meat and vegetable/salad dishes and with cold drinks available.
We then jumped back on the bus for a short trip to Monkey Land. After a brief talk, we were shown into the enclosure where the guide passed out tubs of fruit/seeds which enticed the monkeys down from the trees and before you knew it, they were climbing all over you and jumping from shoulder to shoulder (or head!) along the group. The guide took photo's of each couple/family with the monkeys climbing all over you and these were available to buy at the end but again, with no pressure to buy at all. Trust me when I say though that he will take better pictures than you're able to yoursef as he gets the 'perfect' shots with strategic placing of seeds on your head/shoulder to get the monkeys in frame. We were very fortunate with the timing as there had been 5 babies born that week and they were each clinging to their mothers, which was amazing to watch as they jumped around from tree to tree or person to person!
We thourougly enjoyed the day out and would highly recommend both activities. Thanks also to the driver Juan Carlos.
Amazing trip
We had the best day at the zip lines and monkey world. All the staff are very friendly and have good sense of humours. The zip lines are fun and very safe to go on. Monkey land was incredible, you spend plenty of time in the monkey enclosure where you get to feed them, have pictures with them and interact with them. They were very friendly and happily jumped all over you. Very fun and exciting experience
own excitement. I was very happy because the workers there were extremely helpful and made me comfortable because I was extremely scared. Afterwards we had a great lunch which consisted of delicious Dominican rice and beans, spaghetti, yuca, fresh coconut and pineapple. Once eating we went to see the monkeys. It was so much fun! They monkeys were beautiful and so fun to be around. We fed the monkeys a bowl of fruits and veggies as the tour guide Gave us. The tour guide was extremely friendly and sweet. Monkey Land was so much fun!!! I wish this part would have been a little longer and maybe a little more time exploring or hanging out with these adorable little monkeys, but other than that our family enjoyed every second of this entire excursion!!

Great memorable excursions
Our guides for both zip line adventure and monkeyland visit spoke fluent English and were very professionally courteous. Eddy at the monkeyland gave us a wonderful guided tour with detailed information about the unique squirrel monkeys, their habitats, and the ideal way of interactions with the adorable creatures. Rene walked us through the process of how coffee, cocoas, and coconut oil are made by the local by hand. The professional zip line staff helped guide the entire group of 20 traversed all 12 zip lines flawlessly with an upbeat smile at every platform. We had a great time with memorable experiences. A must do experience.....
Zip lines were great with a really professional team of guides and zip line technicians. This as a trip on its own would be great but the monkey land experience with Sergio made this one of the best holiday excursions we have been on. Would recommend to couples and families alike and if the zip lines is not your thing certainly do monkey land. Monkeyland
Best by far. Our party of 15 thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with the monkeys. The ziplining was great and all the instructors were great. Our guide, Dario, was fantastic and spoke 5 different languages. First guide we were able to fully understand with perfect English. Our bus driver, Pino, was very good also.
