Philipsburg St. Maarten: Complete Guide Before Visit

Founded in 1763 by John Philips, Philipsburg is the main town and capital of Sint Maarten. The town is situated on a narrow stretch of land between Great Bay and the Great Salt Pond. The town is filled with duty free shops, restaurants and bars and has a beautiful long white sand beach. It is within walking distance to the cruise ship terminal.
