Our family had a wonderful time on a trail ride with Nestor in June. I am an advanced rider (riding for 6 years) and Nestor offered to give me an advanced lesson the next day. All I can say is, the lesson was outstanding! I have never been able to gallop in my lessons in the US, because the riding rings are too small. I was so nervous, but Nestor taught me how to gallop within the first ten minutes of the lesson. I spent the rest of the time galloping on the beach on Jaunes. To say the least, that was one of the best days of my life! Thanks to amazing Nestor, I learned to gallop and had a great time at Racho Notourious!!

Our tour guide Nestor was so knowledgeable and kind! We got to see some of the greatest parts of the island and there was no better feeling than galloping on these horses along side Aruba's beautiful desert and beaches. My girlfriend said this was her favorite part of our trip! The ranch was small, but quaint, with a pig, some goats, and several horses, we got to learn all of the animal's stories! There were even two barn dogs who were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this tour and Rancho Notorious!

rode at notorious on July 19th 2018. Myself and my 2 daughters aged 10 and 14. i am an advanced rider and my daughters are intermediate rides. Our guide Nestor was amazing. He was informative, friendly and help my intermediate daughters advance their skills all while being safety conscious. That day it was only my daughters and myself on the ride, which was a great advantage to advance my daughters skill level.
I would highly recommend Rancho Notorious to anyone looking to enjoy a fun 2 hours with a great guide.
i will certainly ride at Notorious our next trip back to Aruba
Thanks again Nestor and the whole Notorious crew.

Typically a trail ride ends up being a little boring for riders who have a little more experience in the saddle, but in spite of being with a small group of other riders who were not up for trotting and/or cantering, I was allowed to open up a bit and get some cantering in where the trail allowed for it. I rode a pretty boy named Bandito who was a pleasure. My guide was so pleasant and extremely confident - based upon previous reviews I read here I was HOPEFUL to get Nestor and luckily I did! It was great to get to stop and take a few pictures along the water too. Nestor was great for conversation along the ride where I asked him loads of questions about the island, his homeland, family, etc. I had a wonderful time! I will definitely be coming back to visit Nestor during my next visit. :)

This was the best ride my daughter and I have ever been on! Nestor was an awesome guide—so happy and joyful. It’s evident that he loves the animals and connects with them. They respect him and listen to him, for he is kind and gentle with them. It’s clear that he loves being a guide and treasures the beauty of Aruba. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the ride was smooth and fun! My daughter, who is an advanced rider, enjoyed cantering while I was comfortable walking and trotting. We stopped at the top of a mountain and had an amazing 360-degree view. There is no better way to see Aruba! We stopped at the beach too—spectacular! This morning ride with Nestor is one we’ll never forget! Thank you, Nestor! And thank you to Juanes and Jesse James (the beautiful, agreeable horses) and Lucky the dog, who was a spirited and darling sidekick! You all made our trip to Aruba extra special!

I booked this tour for my daughter, daughter-in-law, and bonus granddaughter. They all agreed, the best riding experience available. The tour guide was great and the view of the island from the high point, probably a hill not mountain, was exceptional. Better value, for experienced riders, than cruise tour. They say five star and highly recommended.

After the reviews with Nestor we were expecting a fun time. However Max was our guide and he was fine, BUT the terrain was all rocky and there was nowhere to let the horses run. All we did was walk for two hours, it was only suitable for beginners. We did go to the sea and a rogue wave provided some excitement. All in all rather boring. The horses were in excellent condition, if only there was someplace to let them run.
