Your Urirama Cove, Secluded Beach and North-East Coast horseback riding tour in Aruba starts with a pick up at your hotel or cruise ship terminal by an air-conditioned van 30-45 minutes before the tour.


After arriving to our ranch close to Palm Beach, you will listen to a quick briefing from your guide and meet your horse. You will find Paso Fino, Trocha, Trotton, and the South-American Quarter horses on our ranch. We provide both Western and English tack. Your guide will help you prepare and getting on your horse, then the horseback riding excursion takes off.


This great tour shows you a little bit of everything. You will reach the north-east coast through the ‘Cunucu’ without the need of crossing busy streets. We will pass by the wish garden and have the option to take beautiful panoramic photos. Experienced riders can gallop over dunes of fine white sand. We will take a rest on the beach if time permits. Choose a 4:00 pm departure for a sunset horseback excursion in Aruba. This 1.5-hour trail ride is available for all skill levels but galloping is not allowed.


After returning to our ranch, enjoy some fresh water, say farewell to your horse then take our shuttle back to your hotel or cruise ship terminal.


We offer guided horse riding excursions for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders with a minimum age of 6 years. Relaxing ride through the beautiful dessert. Nestor was wonderful. There was only the 2 of us on our tour. 1 experienced rider and 1 novice. Nestor let me take the reins so to speak, while he stayed back with the novice. Favorite adventure of my vacation.

I am a lifelong equestrian and very experienced. My boyfriend and I were on a trip to Aruba for my birthday and I knew that I wanted to ride while I was there. He is a beginner and the staff at Rancho Notorious is AMAZING! They gave me a horse that was lively and fun and made sure my boyfriend was safe on his horse. Beautiful scenery and well mannered horses. I had chosen a walk only tour since he was a beginner, but they did allow me to go off on my own and gallop down the trails and on the beach, which really made my whole day and trip. I would highly recommend anyone to come to Rancho Notorious for a safe and fun horseback ride!

I booked and went but didn't ride. Was denied a refund. The horses were a little figgety. Maybe they sensed I was nervous but and the instructor appeared annoyed that I asked for a refund

Hi, sorry you did not go on the ride with the rest of your group (see previous comment by your group member). We did allow you to switch your group last moment ,just half an hour before pick up time, to the afternoon so you could all ride together. We refused another reservation in order to place you. And we lost sales because you had blocked the morning ride. Your horse and for all in your group were ready. I hope you do understand that we cannot refund you your reservation. Nestor did a wonderful job as always. We do hope you will be able to enjoy a horse ride sometime .

This activity was worth every penny! It was 7 of us, and we were picked up by van. Greated by Nestor with the warmest greetings. Once we got to the ranch, everything was explained to us vividly. Nestor was super cool about helping out the beginners in our group (scared ones). He taught us how to properly ride the horses & understood our anxieties. The horse's were a little antsy at first but long as your calm, they're calm. Once we started the trail, the horses being so well trained followed in line perfectly. It was great! Nestor also takes the BEST photos. The water was nice, small intimate beach & a sight to see. On the trail back Nestor sung with us, and we had a Ball! I highly recommend this activity! It's was the best time I've had. Don't be afraid just do it!.

We were gifted an experience of horseback riding as a wedding gift, and when we arrived in Aruba for our honeymoon we booked a 1.5 hour Sunset Tour with Rancho Notorious. I have been on a horse before, but my wife had not been and was a little apprehensive. We were picked up at our hotel by Nestor, who was to be our guide as well, and driven to the Ranch to meet our horses. It was just the two of us, and it felt like a private tour! Nestor took us through the desert landscape and up the third tallest "peak" on Aruba to watch the sunset- alas, it was a little cloudy but the colors of the sky and the view was breathtaking. Nestor took photos for us and was great answering my questions about our surroundings as well as providing tips about the horses. The horses were well trained and my wife even felt comfortable- even when her horse stopped a few times to take a bite out of a branch, she was able to handle it well. Recommendations would be to wear pants and comfortable shoes- it was warm but we didn't feel too uncomfortable. The way back to the ranch was neat as well- we were riding through the desert in the dark, and it was so calm and peaceful. Nestor was a wonderful guide and even emailed the photos to us almost immediately when we got back to our hotel. We would highly recommend this experience, especially if you want to Aruba in quiet, peaceful way.

This was a wonderful experience! We were all beginners and our tour guide was fantastic. He picked the perfect horses for us, in terms of temperament. We were with our two boys, 5 and 7, and he helped them every bit of the way. He also took some of the best pictures of us on our trip! He also helped us collect beautiful sea shells on the beach.

The only thing I would change is the time at the ranch, while the staff was helpful and very polite, adding bottles of water or a snack at the end of the tour would've been great. Or they could also offer water somewhere along the way and add a fresh fruit or something similar to add another element to the tour. They sold them at the ranch though

The ranch is clean (the ranch itself was even raked prior to our arrival) and the horses are clearly well-cared for. Nestor made this beginner-friendly ride very enjoyable for our entire family of 5. He took care to match us with horses that would be appropriate for us and carefully managed our ride for safety and enjoyment. Our morning ride to Urirama Cove was like riding through a western movie set replete with dessert, cacti, giant boulders and even a Rancho Notorious dog who decided to lead the way for our group. Nestor took multiple photos of each of us while riding and at the beach. He really made our ride a wonderful experience!

AWESOME! My daughter (10yo) had never ridden a horse by herself, and was both excited and nervous. Our guide was so good with her - very confident, and led her horse (from his) at first, before allowing her to ride solo on the way back. Such a great experience for everyone!

We had a great 1.5 hours of horseback riding. We had 6 people in my family 4 with very little and no experience and 2 with a minimal amount of experience. Nestor and Wilmer were our guides along with Luke the dog. They were great we got to see a lot of the scenery and they took a lot of pictures for us.

We were a family of 4 with 2 children ages 10 and 13 with no riding experience. You are driven to a ranch not too far from the high rise district. Max took us out with 4 friendly horses. Nothing fancy but a total of 90 minutes on the horses. Rode down to the beach and back. Go through desert terrain with lots of cactuses. My kids had a good time. Enough galloping to keep them happy but not too much to get scared! Nothing fancy but fun if you are just looking to ride a horse in the countryside.
